hi, this is probably a weee bit early for some ppl, but im waiting til end of this month to ttc (the desperation, brooding over other peoples babies and feeling jealous of pregnant women , thinking of names and waiting 2 symptom spot kicks in)
so come along and join the journey to motherhood!

Sorry an October bus, getting me months mixed up!

conkertree · 22/11/2010 16:40

Arabella - stick with us - you can always be on two buses if you like. We had a plan with ds#2 to start trying for a June baby but spur of the moment changed our minds due to a rather alcohol fuelled night Blush and ended up with such a wee character, I'm very glad we changed the plan and had a May one instead.

Hi babs and Edward. I popped onto the ditherers too Edward but didn't take long to decide compared to some on there - quite a funny thread though.

Hello everyone,

Enjoying reading all your posts. First real month of trying (though I was on the August bus briefly). I'm now feeling fully educated and DH and I are starting to try for real this month. Smile

Unfortunately, DH is going away over ovulation day so SWI in the lead up later this week. Fingers crossed it'll work!

Arabella36 · 22/11/2010 19:10

Hi Babs, I'm laughing at my own earlier message as it sounds as though I expect to be pregnant immediately when I try! Basically, the only reason for leaving it a bit longer is so that I don't go off on mat leave quite so quickly again when I'm just returning from previous mat leave. A successful Dec attempt would mean I would be 2 months peg when I start back, see why I feel awkward about it?

Arabella36 · 22/11/2010 19:24

Hi Conkertree, December is a month likely to be more alcohol soaked than average so you never know what might happen Wink

Hello to rugbywidow!

i went to co-op today to get a few bits of shopping, left kids at home with dh, got 2 counter and saw martini on offer "can i get a bootle of dry martini please" "have u got any i.d?" "umm no, thought i was old enough now not to need to carry my driving licence about with me, here's my wedding ring you've seen me in here with my kids before and served me a bottle of wine before, but i do understand." "well i cant serve u any until u come back in with i.d" i was sooo peed off, know i should be flattered and i do understand she was doing her job, but RAH! (and also a little embarassed)

Evening ladies!

I appeared on this thread earlier towards the beginnaing but now I am back. At the moment i am just hoping for a 2011 baby, see other thread :o yet being aboard the September bus would be an absolute blessing!

So ladies, especially those on ttc #2/3/4/9 any tips to make it happen quick!!

I just know as im SWI that i'm gonna be getting impatient and symptom spotting like crazy. Well i am already convinced my mouth tastes like a two pence coin, and only had the implant out a week!!

Good luck to all of you!

broodywantcoilout · 22/11/2010 20:46

I completely understand! Not sure if some of the symptom spotting is other 'problems' which im relating to pregnancy, or all in my head!! im sure symptom spotting makes not being pregnant feel even worse tho!

OP posts:
InnocentRedhead · 22/11/2010 20:50

I think it most definately will tbh! You are just desperate for the symptoms to start and for you to just KNOW they are there. However sh*t you may feel with your head over the toilet bowl, ITS STILL A SYMPTOM :o

I have had dreams about being PG recently, they were fabulous and i woke up with a sense of disappointment.

DP said the sweetest thing today too, that i would look good PG :o

And remember ladies while TTC, keep having fun!

RugbyWidow7 · 22/11/2010 21:02

Yeah, I'm trying not to be too neurotic about it all as I'm told that doesn't help TTC and DH is def on the 'let it happen naturally' thought process. It's so hard not to though. There's so much info about and learning to do!

I'm really enjoying TTC so far Wink! Roll on ovulation.

BabsH · 23/11/2010 06:53

Morning all,

Hi Arabella I get your reason for waiting, I guess waiting a little longer till you tell your boss that you are going off on mat leave again will make you a little more popular there!!! Stay with us, there's plenty of time till the Oct bus anyway :o

Hi to everyone, I was symptom spotting like mad last month and the month before, am a bit of a gadget junkie so have a whole game plan this month, poor DH has been warned that he is on a schedule! Mind, I temp and so on and he has no idea, so he doesnt realise quite how much I am planning!!!!

Have a good day y'all

Arabella36 · 23/11/2010 10:18

I think I have had my first insight into what it would be like being pregnant while looking after my baby. Was at a party recently and the next day had quite the hangover - you know that vague nauseous feeling? Anyway I remembered that this was exactly how I felt in the first trimester last time! It is hard work looking after a baby when you feel nauseous! the poor baby certainly doesn't understand why mum is less than enthusiastic!

Is the first trimester the hardest when pregnant with second baby?

conkertree · 23/11/2010 14:18

Yes and no Arabella. For me the nausea wasn't great, but it was the getting really tired that I found hardest with another baby, so a bit at the start and lots at the end.

But I think I put less weight on the second time round as I was running about after ds1 more and not scoffing quite so much food!

broodywantcoilout · 23/11/2010 20:48

same here conkertree with 1st u an get home from work and collapse in2 bed, with 2nd u cant do that as u have a little un 2 look after so definately much more tiring- both definately not worth putting off trying 4 another for!!

OP posts:
Arabella36 · 24/11/2010 10:08

Well, I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope for only mild nausea with next pregnancy - its all just a means to an end after all! And having looked at some other threads, I'll just feel grateful if it happens easily.

BabsH · 24/11/2010 17:58

Hi all,

I wont mind being ill, I just want a baby!!!

AF should be done and dusted with tomorrow or the day afterwards and DH has been put on a proper schedule this month, which he says he doesnt mind at all!!!

Mmm too many exclamation marks!!!

broodywantcoilout · 24/11/2010 21:26

haha u can never have 2 many!! have my laparoscopy 2moro 2 remove mirena-so then we'll b ttc! fingers crossed!!

OP posts:
queenofthecapitalwasteland · 25/11/2010 12:54

Well AF has finally come along Sad and I'm officially finding my seat on the bus.

Soon as this (and my sodding cold) is over I shall be temping, drinking the grapefruit juice (yuck) and SWI plenty to make certain. Grin

Brasso4 · 25/11/2010 15:05

Hi Ladies, jumping on now.

Brasso4 TTCno2 Cycle3 UCL28-49Blush

Can't put a sharp sign in so have had to put 'no'. Had the world's longest cycle last time at 49 days - hoping this one will be shorter. No idea when AF is due but the latest would be 31/12/10.

Not expecting to get PG really - took ages with DD and really can't be bothered with the stress of OV sticks etc. In fact with DD I missed OV and still got PG!!!

MrsSatsuma · 25/11/2010 18:49

I'm hopping on the bus! Am a new MNer... can't wait to come off pill at weekend then start trying. Aiming for baby at end of summer holidays - will even forego my glass of Christmas wine for it, hard as that may be...

Brasso4, are you a musician by any chance? Just wondered because of the name and the fact that you described it as a sharp instead of hash sign! :)
