Come along, we haven't got all day. Pop off your blazers and straw boaters for a mo and listen up. As Head Girl, I think you ought to know that my dear chum Darrell Rivers tells me that we're really letting the side down with our lack of baybee-winning. To that end, instead of prep and lacrosse, we'll be TTC. I know some of us are losing hope that we'll ever win the Motherhood Cup for our house, but chins up and think of England! We don't won't to end up like the bitter, childless, dried-up old spinsters running this place, do w... oh, hello Matron! Yes, yes, we're going now...

Super! We've been given the attic dorm - bagsy the bed by the window, what! We won't be disturbed when we're enjoying midnight feasts, unbridled lesbianism, pillow fights and sneaking in fellows from the nearby boy's school for some ghastly dreadfulness.

So let's pop some Joyce Grenfell on the gramophone and crack open the tuck boxes! Mater's made me a huge ginger cake and oooh, I see someone's brought pontefract cakes! Yummo! Humbugs, sherbet, elderflower fizz, eccles cakes, a whole slab of choccy - what a simply smashing haul! Hmmm, this ginger beer smells suspiciously gin-like...

Oh yes

HeadShagger I do hope they use the tradesman?s, although access is rather tight back there.

Orchid I would like to think they would come with little name tags so we could have the ones allocated to us. That would be nice. Yes you are right EVERYONE (See Scorps blog list) is pregnant. Today my SIL is having her scan and my friend is also due this week. Mr B got taken to one side a few weeks after the M/C as one of his colleagues was 4 months pregnant and she had only just found realised.Angry How about a Raspberry Gin Fizz to sooth your brow? No need to HTFU, we all need a good whinge and cry sometimes.

A silver fox you say MissHoot? I loves me a Silver Fox.

Scorps love you?ve got raspberry fizz all over your clothes?Hang on, what?s the matter with Cho? She looks terribly poorly.

BarbiesBeaver · 07/09/2010 15:18

found realised? Kill me.

Also, I like the cult idea of ChoChang's for next fred. Afterwards what does everyone think of a pirate based one? Only so we can see how many Seamen based jokes we can cram in during 1000 posts. (Save the Pugwash references or I won't have any material left).

Scorpette · 07/09/2010 15:18

Sssssh, I think she's sleeping

Scorps, you fool, did you seriously think I wouldn't channel the resurrective powers of our BESH heroine Glenn Close c. Fatal Attraction, to come back to life and administer my rewengay? Now, prepare to DIIIEEEE bwaaahaahaaaa etc.

owlshoes · 07/09/2010 15:51

OMG CHOZOMBIE!!11!!!2

Mmm, tasty brains.

Silver fox/ancient auld beggar, it's all the same, Sindyssingedminge

Did someone mention raspberry gin fizz? The elderberry cordial I made the other week is rather good with a spot of gin and tonic added. Mmm, gin and tasty brains.

Cannot believe we are on the last 100 of this fred already. It's not even halfway through the term. Perhaps the next fred should be "The BESHnunnery complete with vows of silence (and non-typing)"

LadyGoneGaga · 07/09/2010 16:52

Am bleeding. Please tell me it will be ok. Sat at my desk trying not to cry. They've offered me a scan tomorrow afternoon. this happened with DS so you'd think I'd be calmer. But I don't feel sick any more.

Headbanger · 07/09/2010 16:55

LG darling, tell us more. Remind me how many weeks you are? And what do you mean by bleeding- just light spotting, or more? Stay calm. It is excellent that you have a scan tomorrow. MrsFC might be along in a bit with reassurance - this happened to her a week or so ago and all is well and fine. We're here for you old bean.

MrsFC · 07/09/2010 17:07

Oh LG, what a scary time. How many weeks are you? Do you think it might be spotting you can sometimes get around the time your period is due? I did have some spotting a couple of weeks ago, but I was at 18 weeks, so a different sort of time really. I know that gin had quite a big bleed and all was well.

Are your breasts still sore? Thinking of you xxx

LadyGoneGaga · 07/09/2010 17:10

7 weeks today. Brown Mucus and spotting...for now. I know I should be calm. It's because my nausea tailed off about a week ago which is worrying me. Boobs still sore though. Still tired. There's bugger all I can do. OH working in Glasgaow this week (we're in S Mids) He's jumping on next train, bless him.

owlshoes · 07/09/2010 17:13

LadyGG Like you said it happened with DS therefore you may just be prone to it - it is ever so common judging by how many people on here have had it and gone on to be okay. Go home early if you are feeling wobbly. Take good care of yourself, bugger work.

Massive hugs

Headbanger · 07/09/2010 17:17

If it's seven weeks it could be that you're getting the bleed from when the period was supposed to come - I understand that to be fairly common. And you have the reassurance of knowing your last pregnancy was OK.

I've done some googling and it looks very much as if a lot of women bleed almost throughout, and are fine - I know that's hardly a scientific response, but it is reassuring.

Do go home early if you can, especially if it is an easy journey. Can you take a cab home, or can someone give you a lift?

LadyGoneGaga · 07/09/2010 17:29

It's not far and I have to pick DS up from nursery on the way anyway. I'm going now. Thanks you lot. Will let you know what happens tomorrow.

Headbanger · 07/09/2010 17:32

Much love to you LadyG. I hope you can rest for the remainder of the day. XX

MrsFC · 07/09/2010 18:03

If it's brown & not red and you still have other syptoms then it could very well be the bleed around the time your period is due.

Lighting a candle for your scan xx

TwinkleToes76 · 07/09/2010 18:14

Oh LadyGG, how horrible and worrying for you. Chances are it will be ok though, especially as you've had a successful pregnancy with bleeding. Will join in with the candle for you and then the collective power of the BESH will see you through! Hope your other half gets back quickly to look after you. We'll be thinking of you and keeping our fingers crossed.

Scorpette · 07/09/2010 18:18

Oh, poor Gaga. Must be so scary for you right now. Try to focus on the facts that you had similar last time and that this would be droid time, which are both powerful reasons why everything will probably be fine. Brown sounds promising, like there's a bit of old menstrual rubbish to get rid of. Not that any of that really helps until you get that scan tomorrow. Try to relax and look after yourself as best you can. Lovely Mr LGGG will be there soon and we are always here to listen, understand and reassure.

My candle is lit here XX

starnosemole · 07/09/2010 18:40

LadyGG Also thinking of you and OH; will inaugerate my BESH candle in your honour, so collective power=one stronger. Hope you get lots of TLC and distraction this evening.

Ariesgirl · 07/09/2010 19:07

Gaga, hope you're ok. What the others said - it may not necessarily be scary and bad. Thinking of you and candles are lit. x

Muser · 07/09/2010 19:10
Medee · 07/09/2010 19:21

thinking of you LadyG.

saltyair · 07/09/2010 19:30

Oh GaGa my dear, you must be going spare. Big hugs to you, glad you could get a scan so quickly.
