Evening all. Thank you for your egg-wishes It has been painful all day so just to be sure I'd better pop off to bed and coax a few swimmers, don't want to miss the opportunity.

I hope all is well in SWI Land, take care x

OP posts:
CaveMum · 06/08/2010 07:02

MrsWajs glad to hear it! Hope you were able to get some decent sleep!

I've woken up with cramps this morning so I'm hoping it's a sign that the Agnus Castus has worked it's magic! I've been taking it a week (I've noticed the suppressed appetite too!).
I'm on CD40-something at the mo - trying not to count days obsessively at this stage.

I pick up my new car this arvo and DH and I are off to see Madness at the races this evening so I may not be about for the rest of the day. Dance lesson tomorrow morning and then house viewing in the evening [excited emotcion]!

Happy Friday all!

Florin · 06/08/2010 07:07

mrswajs got my fingers firmly crossed for you for tomorrow. You really deserve a bfp.
tiger hope cramps settle down soon and that they mean something positive
Josie welcome to the thread!

I am really pleased with our efforts this month we have managed to swi everyday apart from 1 between day 9 and now so at least this month I can say we have given it our best effort and done as much as we can to try and get that bfp

crazybutterflylady · 06/08/2010 07:14

Morning ladies... happy friday Grin

fingers crossed for you MrsW !! Have you tested again today?? How excitinggg!!

Also Blush sorry to spoil your lovely Friday list :( but FERTD arrived with a vengeance overnight, the b1tch. I have got the worst pains and bloating I have had for a while... :( that'll teach me to be cocky!

Saved me a stick tomorrow morning though... Wink

I am guessing that I count 12 days from here to get to my fertile phase but if I am wrong please let me have your opinion... thanks ladies x

cavey all sounds good! what's that now about Agnus? Suppresses appetite? Ooh nice side effect! I am so excited about your weekend, sounds fab... and keeping everything crossed for the new chez Cave :)

Good work on the SWI florin - everything crossed for you too

...and for everyone :) have some magnetic baby dust... xx

zippys · 06/08/2010 07:21

Just rushing to work but OMG can't believe you have managed not to test again Mrswaj !!! Keeping everything crossed for you chick. Hi to everyone else.

Florin · 06/08/2010 07:48

crazy bad luck about fetrd. Depends when you ovulate to when to start swi. I am not quite sure of the length of my cycle yet as they are getting shorter each month (which is a good thing as they started off at 56 days!) We swi between day 10 and day 20 but that is to cover all bases so hopefully no chance of missing it!

cookiemoo · 06/08/2010 07:58

mrs wadj keeping everything crossed for you!
Happy Friday to everyone!! I'm so pleased the weekend if finally here!!! :) :) :)

gardenpixie · 06/08/2010 09:04

Morning everyone Smile

OMG MrsW so exciting - how long had you left it for it to turn from a BFN to a positive? And yes I think the thing about evap lines is that they are grey - I had one once and convinced myself it was a positive but I knew there was something odd about it because it wasn't the same colour as the reference line!

So exciting - I am keeping everything crossed for you

Hello Josie lovely to meet you! Smile

Crazy enormous Angry for FERTD arrival. I was reading about your spotting yesterday and was getting all excited for you and now I am gutted. Boooooooooooo. Obviously August is meant to be your month

Tomboy just one sore boob? The least the ladies could do is even out a bit. Seems pretty unfair ... Hope they are sorting themselves out for you

Tigerseye get those swimmers! Get them!

Cavemum I LOVE the appetite suppression with Agnus Castus, I am sure if you are feeling that, it is getting to work on sorting other things out too.

Big big big fingers crossed for an enormous BFP for MrsW

Happy Friday everyone Grin

crazybutterflylady · 06/08/2010 09:15

Morning garden, you are very chirpy today :)

Thanks - I sort of feel like I had to go through a mental month so I can relax about it all a bit more, if that makes sense. And I am relishing another month of SWI - poor Mr Crazy Grin

Are you on your 2ww now? arghhh, nail biting, I'll keep everything* crossed for you xx

*can't promise that will include my legs though...!

felicityFlick · 06/08/2010 10:06

MrsW, keeping everything crossed for you. Sorry that FERTD has arrive crazy :( Big waves to everyone, will be back tomorrow so will catch up then. Last day in france today so I survived thanks to all of your advice :) x x

Karstan · 06/08/2010 10:19

Crazybutterflylady - like others have said, it depends on your cycle. I ovulated day 12 this cycle so not starting swi until day 12 would be leaving it a bit late.

If you're not sure when you ovulate and don't have clear signs I'd use the ovulation calculator with a luteal phase of 10 and then repeat but with 16 and swi between the earliest and latest dates you're given.

crazybutterflylady · 06/08/2010 10:22

Hi flick! Have a good journey back to blighty and congrats on surviving it!

Thanks karstan that's a really good idea, I'll do it now. thank youuuuu x

gardenpixie · 06/08/2010 10:30

Hi crazy I am sure mr crazy will love being in demand for another SWI session! I am not on the 2ww just yet - I think I am going to ov today or tomorrow so I am keeping mr garden very busy at the moment (I think he is actually a bit tired of me pestering him but he'll just have to get on with it for another day!

Flick glad you survived! Safe trip home x

felicityFlick · 06/08/2010 10:51

Calling MrsW and any other CBFM urerr. Lucky are you lurking?! Finally, (day 18 like you said MrsW!) my CBFM has moved to high-perhaps am not broken after all! I was wondering how many highs you got before the two peaks? I know flo had two highs and then the peaks.... just wondering as Mr.F is going away on Monday for a week so those peaks better get a move on! Thanks and sorry for being so self obssessed! x x

crazybutterflylady · 06/08/2010 11:05

How exciting flick!! I hope you have nothing but SWI planned this weekend Grin

karstan and garden i have checked the ov calculator on here and pregnology and neither correlates nor makes sense to me so I have resolved to just blatant pestering from a week today onwards ;)

felicityFlick · 06/08/2010 11:05

I mean CBFM users-bloody phone! x

gardenpixie · 06/08/2010 11:08

Sorry Flick I don't use a CBFM

Crazy I reckon constant pestering is the way forward Wink lucky Mr Crazy!

cookiemoo · 06/08/2010 11:19

flick I use cbfm and I've had 5 highs before a peak! Saying that I only had one this month. Don't suppose that helps much, sorry x

Updating the list just for you crazy I've put your UCL as 36 to echo this cycle but we can change it as time goes on and your cycle lengths change. Also I would guesstimate at 14 days back from today to pinpoint ov as a 14 day luteal phase is considered "the norm" yours might not be but safer to go with that until you know otherwise I think!
Oh I just read Karstans post and that is also a good idea, or you could just SWI every other day for the whole month and see what happens!!

Flick I checked back my FF for you and I got 2 HI peaks before my ov with CBFM but I did only use ot for the one month so I don't know how reliable that might be!! Good luck to you though for the impending SWI!! Infact nevermind impending, I hope you've started already!! Hope travelling won't muck it up too much!

Cavemum I didn't know agnus cactus was an appetite suppressant - if def no pg then I'll be giving it a bash next month!!

And hello to the rest of you, thanks for all your messages and crossed body parts!! Not much new to report - cramping went up a gear today but so far still no FERTD, feeling slightly less hopeful than I was but like we say it ain't over til it's over!! So at the mo still sitting tight til tomorrow morning! Slept ok last night but had a very disturbing dream!!

OP posts:
luckyseven · 06/08/2010 15:53

hi flick i think the first month i got lots of highs before a peak. Can t check fertility friend as i have no internet at the moment. Stupid sky! Once you do get a peak the monitor will always give you a second peak and then two highs so don t waste the sticks after the first peak just put an old one or an unused one in to save you pennies. It took four cycles for me to get pg and it was only the fourth month that temps and monitor matched up. Mrs w hope you get a result tom! Lots more new people and we have nearly finished the grads thread so will have to update again! As for me half way there and got a new due date of the week before christmas:

JosieSmith1 · 06/08/2010 16:55

Afternoon everyone

My right ovary was quite sore yesterday so I have decided now is the time cos that pain is obviously me ovulating. In my head anyway!

Can someone just clarify what F/ERTD means please? It's not on the list of acronyms and I'm confused!

womanlytales · 06/08/2010 16:56

Mrswajs I have a really good feeling about you... Glad you're waiting till Sat -- as halo says waiting only makes you more pregnant....
Best of luck and fingers crossed - lots and lots of baby dust to you.

Wave to everybody else. :) Best of luck to all those poas this weekend (and everything crossed for Mrswajs)

Karstan · 06/08/2010 17:10

Evil Red Tide of Doom, Josie. FERTD has an extra expletive!

Karstan · 06/08/2010 18:17

MUST STOP PRODDING BOOBS!

Far too early to have symptoms so any that appear are just going to be self inflicted.

Today I've just wanted to be pregnant so much, more than ever before, but last week I was a bit meh about the whole thing! Most odd.
