crazy how regular are you usually? do you know when you ov'd for sure?

gardenpixie · 04/08/2010 16:14

Hi aries isn't the new place great?

crazybutterflylady · 04/08/2010 16:17

garden I am usually 30 days. I am pretty sure I did OV as usual but I don't monitor it particularly (other than counting from start of last P - until now to "be careful" then).
I don't remember any EWCM but then I don't always get it. Maybe I just didn't OV this month?

(sorry everyone for taking over!)

gardenpixie · 04/08/2010 16:22

crazy I doubt you didn't ov if you usually do ... I think you're right to give it an extra week or so to aim off for any strange extended follicular phase. I'm sure you'll get a BFP or FERTD soon. Obv fingers crossed for the former!

It is maddening when that happens though. At least if you've always been regular you won't have to wait weeks and weeks. I think the longest cycle I had was over 60 days - I was INSANE by the end of it!

And you said you were going to the gym a lot too which helps to sort the old hormones out

crazybutterflylady · 04/08/2010 16:33

OMG 60 days

I will stop whingeing on about my extra 4 days I think

Yeah I do gym quite a bit - well 4 times a week? - hopefully it is not having an adverse effect, I have been doing it for about 5 months. Maybe this is my body's way of protesting

Have a nice evening everyone xx

gardenpixie · 04/08/2010 16:35

crazy you weren't whingeing! It is infuriating. I hope you get a BFP soon xx

kkas · 04/08/2010 16:43

loving the house cavemum my stomach also did flips when i saw the nursery seems perfect for you and DH and your future family!

SaorAlba · 04/08/2010 16:48

garden SIXTY DAYS? I'm with crazy and am going mental already about the whole thing.

No idea if I oved or not this month, but as it's day 37 and last time's cycle was 32 days I'm more than slightly confused. I reckon last cycle I oved on day 20 though. Have done bugger all housework with my day off today cause I'm finding it so difficult to concentrate.

The problem is that I don't know how long my cycles are normally. Last month was my first natural cycle in quite a few years, but surely 37 days is a bit much?

What I'm planning to do at the moment is to test on Saturday when I will be at day 40. Maybe we'll both get bfps on Sat, crazy.

What would you guys do? At what stage should I give up waiting and call the doctor?

Cave The house is amazing. I've got my fingers crossed for you that the viewing goes well. We?ll be expecting a report back afterwards

Congratulations on getting the last word Aries, the old thread served us well.

All those who have been keeping an eye on my stats, thanks for noticing, although I haven?t been posting much I have been looking in on the thread and it?s nice to get a shout out.

womanly Your posts are immensely interesting. It?s good to hear about ?medical? things from a personal point of view, thank you for sharing with us.

Hope everything went okay today, halo.

Hi to all the rest of you! [wave emoticon].

crazybutterflylady · 04/08/2010 17:28

evilgiraffe are you really on over 100 days?! Why hadn't I noticed that before? Eek my thought are with you x

saor I'm glad it's not just me that's confused with it all. Well I'm not but you know what I mean?! My other current question is how I will know what next month's OV schedule will be if this month is all skewed. Uhhh why can't we just press a button and have a baby?!

Yours bratily

haloflo · 04/08/2010 17:44

Hello all, just thought I'd drop by & let you know that the scan went well. There was a bean and a little heart was beating. No reason at all for the spotting. I am very glad it went well as now I'm on the front page as a graduate

cherry Sorry about ERTD. I hope you feel a little better today. Lucky cycle 7 should see your luck change I'm sure.

flick Sorry you are feeling down. I'm sure ovulation is just around the corner. You still getting lows on the CBFM? Remember I got just 2 highs, then the peaks so it could be your lucky weekend coming right up! I'm glad you are here by the way, phones are brilliant.

soar Good luck at the weekend - have you any symptoms? There are others evil, kurly who know more about this than me but you might find your GP uninterested by a one off long cycle, especially if you've been on hormonal contraceptives, until it's been 6 months. Fingers crossed yours is staying away for the right reasons.

cave Is this house on the old thread? It sounds amazing

mrsw I hope ERTD stays away for the right reasons too. Have you enjoyed going au natural this month or you thinking of going back to temping next time? I found the OPK's to be the right measure of crazy for me in the last couple of months.

felicityFlick · 04/08/2010 18:44

so glad to hear from you flo! Absolutely thrilled that you saw your little babys heartbeat x x x yep, still lows on the CBFM but am only on day 16 so should stop stressing. Am starting to think that fertility friend was not that accurate as the past 3 months it showed my luteal phase as 18 days which is very long and my ovulation day was day 14 in two cycles and 15 in the last. Am wondering if perhaps i did ovulate later and have a shorter LP? Thanks mrsw, crazy, florin, cave and garden for cheering me up x x

CaveMum · 04/08/2010 18:52

flo so glad to hear that everything is going well.
The link to the house we're going to look at is in my post on this thread at 13:39

Hope everyone has a good evening.

womanlytales · 04/08/2010 19:06

Hi, am trying this fm my phone 4 the first time. Seems pretty Pok.felicity sorry about the poor company. Hope you are able to ignore her and enjoy yr time in France and able to ttc.cave the house looks fab..all the best on sat.mrswajs thank u for starting this thread. Have u poas yet? Sorry if I missed that... just feel like if fertd isn't here yet then there is hope still?

pinklady76 · 04/08/2010 19:38

look at this shiny new thread and being served our pornstar cocktails by jacob and a hunky gym instructor! I'm in and on my beanbag with a glass of the french wine sent by flick thanks for the smelly yummy french cheese aswell! hope you feel better soon and that you are getting on better with the other girl.

Thanks for the new thread MrsWajs and thanks for updating my details.. not anal at all! Hope the impending fertd isnt too bad for you and that working on a new ward tomorrow is better than you thought.

gardenpixie Congrats on your 3 year anniversary what a brilliant milestone! enjoy the SWIing

cavemum Yes was out in the rain all day but i dont mind because its not the horrid sun which i cant cope with. had all my waterproof stuff on so was all good and was high on ibuprofen so was even better
Havent looked at your house yet but judging from what everyone else says it must be beautiful! Will check it out asap.

TigerseyeMum · 04/08/2010 21:21

Page 2 already?!

Today is the first day without the post-pill headache -yay-so maybe I ovulated yesterday and that's changed my hormones.

We did do babydancing yesterday, should we again tonight? I think we've done it more in the last few days than we did all of last year I'm a bit SWI-ed out tbh.

Hope everyone is ok. Nice thundery day to clear the air.

MrsWajs · 04/08/2010 21:57

Oh halo I'm so pleased everything is going well for you

Sorry should have said earlier that I did POAS this morning (bad MrsWajs) and got BFN so pretty sure I'm not pg. But FERTD cramping has stopped again and when I went to the loo earlier I seemed to have (TMI) slightly EW looking CM so am now confused.com!!

Will just wait and see I suppose, am potentially not 14dpo yet but dunno when I ov'd so impossible to tell, I suppose if no FERTD by 7th, I would be officially late but then again I have had a 45 day cycle before now!!

Which brings me onto my next post to Saor try not to stress too much, any number of things can cause a long cycle and especially if it's only your second pill free cycle. I would wait til maybe it was 2 weeks over due and then pay a visit to your GP as tht's what I was told to do.

Same to you flick didn't realise you were only on CD16 - you may have a day or 2 yet until you hit your highs and peak on CBFM, I think mine started around CD17/18.

Anyway that's all from me, having a bath and getting organised for work tomorrow - hoping to try and stay up til midnight (stupidly) cus apparently we will be able to see the Northern Lights here tonight!! Dunno if that applies to the rest of the country or just Scoptland though?!

raspberrytipple · 04/08/2010 22:00

Hey, like the new thread.....
Thanks crazy, cave and lanky for advice re the drinking, I hadn't realized an embryo didn't absorb alcohol until 6 weeksish but makes sense I supposed. I'm not planning a massive boozeathon primarily because I am to prone to hideous hangovers old and wise to be doing such stupid things .

Well, I am going to do a test on Friday morning. I am now on cd24 but pretty sure AF is on the way, very sore tummy low down. nevermind, back to lots of babydancing

raspberrytipple · 04/08/2010 22:00

oh no, my strike through didnt work! What happened there then?

gardenpixie · 04/08/2010 22:15

halo that's the best news - how exciting! So pleased your bean is happy and safe!

Hello to everyone else, I'm a bit SWI'd out so am off to bed (for some sleep this time)

Night night xx

cherrycobbler · 04/08/2010 22:19

marvellous news flo!

mrsw love what you've done with the place! Hope this is a lucky thread for all and your next rendezvous with a stick of the pee kind results in a BFP

Hello to everyone else - am off for an early night!

Florin · 04/08/2010 22:31

Halo that is great news, it must have been so exciting to see the little heart beat.
rasberrytipple I have to admit the first couple of months I was good about alcohol but now as far as I am concerned everything is normal until I get the BFP. Otherwise my life would be on hold too much and I would be even more fed up than I already am about not being pregnant. However it does feel very naughty when I take the mum to be vitamins with a glass of red wine!

raspberrytipple · 04/08/2010 22:38

ha, florin I'm glad you've said that as I'm guessing that is how i will get too. It's just all quite exciting because we've only just started trying, think we just need to calm down and settle into this baby making business..... happy SWIing to all those on the job tonight, I'm off to bed xx

evilgiraffe · 04/08/2010 23:51

Indeed, butterfly, I am nearer 200 days than 100. Stupid body doesn't work properly! Hopefully a bit of exercise and healthy eating will thin me down and whip it into shape, though. I am sick to death of waiting for stuff to happen!

crazybutterflylady · 05/08/2010 06:39

Morning all!

flo that's great news, many congratulations, it's so lovely to hear what goes on after the BFP everyone is hankering after

evilgiraffe sorry I hope that I didn't come across as insensitive but it did make me realise I was overreacting about my situation. I hope things start working for you soon and you have some exciting news coming your way. Extra helpings of babydust for you until then xx

cookiemoo · 05/08/2010 08:04

Howdy all!! Loving the new place we have here! It may be a little early for cocktails but I'm tempted! I'm 7dpo and pretty sure this isn't our month again. Think we're gonna try and forget all the ttc info and relax while dh has repeat sa done.... I'm not hopeful I'll manage this tho!!!!
Fingers and toes are crossed for those planning on poas within the next few day
