Ugh. My left ovary is hurting and I feel sicky. Bet that's the endo building up for the ERTD

My GP sent off a consultant referral for my endo 2 weeks ago but I have not yet received an appointment letter. So frustrating.

Gotta go work....

crazybutterflylady · 05/08/2010 11:40

Hi Tiger
It could be the egg coming down to meet the swimmers! Don't despair
xx

womanlytales · 05/08/2010 14:27

flo Thank you for sharing and am very happy for you and little bean. How truly exciting.
mrswajs and crazy - I am really impressed by how you're not testing away.. so fingers crossed that despite the early BFN that the next few days prove lucky for you both.
giraffe have you tried agnus castus - I've read in this thread that it helps bring on FERTD. Feel your frustration though...

Last year in June I skipped a month and it happened consequently three times in a row -- Totally freaked me out.and got me to see a doct and then a specialist.. so I know how hard it is to wait for FERTD...

Question for you ladies on late ovulation - DH and I decided to not swi on day19..is it possible to ovulate after that if I have a 28-32 day cycle. The OPKs dont register anything for me..so when I am ovulating [and this is not every month] I can't tell when.. and no, none of the other symptoms work either for me... Yup - am a bit weird that way!!!

gardenpixie · 05/08/2010 14:58

Hello frolickers and a happy Thursday to everyone.

Cookie it is frustrating when you're waiting for SA results. I wouldn't worry about it though - my DH had to have two lots done just so they could be sure of the results. Awful for the boys to have to go through it though. Hopefully this is your month though - fingers crossed!

Tigerseye I hope you are feeling a bit better? For such small things, ovaries can be mighty painful ...

Giraffe, I agree with womanly that it might be worth trying agnus castus. It is just so horrid waiting and waiting for FERTD like your hormones are constipated or something. Ergh.

womanly I think it is technically possible to ovulate after CD19 on a 32 day cycle. As I understand it - and I could be wrong so other frolickers please shout if I'm being a dunce - a healthy luteal phase can be anything from 9 to 14 days so on a 32 day cycle you could still ov on CD21.

How frustrating for you not to have more obvious signs. Sometimes I do wish we had inbuilt LEDs that lit up when we were ov-ing and another one that signalled a BFP (or otherwise) as soon as our bodies know what was going on. Oh well, the delights of mother nature!

Big waves to everyone x

Well I think it's fair to say that this morning wasn't too bad! Although it was very sad to find one of my old school teachers as an in-patient there
Still no FERTD so have re-commenced SWI incase I am only just ovulating!! Wouldn't be unusual for my body to play silly buggers with me at such a crucial stage of the game!

Agree with you cookie that it is nigh on impossible to forget about TTC info!! Once it's ingrained in your memory it's there forever, I can only hope that once we get that BFP it will all fade away or do you think we'll still be counting days and checking pants etc etc!?

Tigers I too hope that your ovarian pain is a big ripe juicy egg making it's way down the tube!!

Womanly Have already done one test yesterday (that MrWajs doesn't know about!!) and won't be doing anymore for at least 2 weeks, if FERTD hasn't appeared by that time. I wasted so many last time I had a really long cycle so not making the same mistake again!! I agree with what gardenpixie said re: ovulation, you could definitely still ovulate yet, everyone is completely different. I generally have a 14 day LP so when FERTD does appear I'll be able to pinpoint ov for this month despite not temping etc. I'm another one who doesn't really get any other viable ov symptoms but I have found OPK's successful in the past - not that it's done me much good so far!!! Sit tight lovely I'm sure it'll all come good.

And as for you gardenpixie!!, I nearly bloody spat my tea all over the keyboard with your 'constipated hormones' - a very good way to put it, made me laugh out loud!!

Hope everyone else is good, I'm off to opester my mother to feed me tonight as DP is working late and can't be bothered to cook for one!! [lazy emoticon]

Hi everyone, mind if I join? I'm new but it's my first time TTC. Only been off pill 2 months, early days yet

CaveMum · 05/08/2010 16:06

JosieSmith welcome!
I hope this thread is lucky for you!

If you post your stats someone will add your details to the list.

You need to provide your current cycle day and your usual cycle length (guesstimate if you're not sure on this one).

JosieSmith1 · 05/08/2010 16:09

Ok well I think I've got it right - CD 14 and usual length 28 days so far

JosieSmith1 · 05/08/2010 16:10

Oh and cycle number 2 I think!

crazybutterflylady · 05/08/2010 16:14

Welcome Josie... I am a newbie too, the ladies are all lovely in here

I just came in to say hi and bye... off home to spend the evening avoiding poas chilling out...! Have a nice evening ladies xx

JosieSmith1 · 05/08/2010 16:18

I am refusing to buy any of those yet because I wasted loads last time!

So...I think I might be spotting. Could it be spotting or am I kidding myself and FERTD is here?

Memememememe

CaveMum · 05/08/2010 20:30

It could be spotting. I've heard of plenty of women who have thought that an implantation bleed was actually ERTD.
Keep an eye on it for a few days and if it stops feel free to poas. Either way you should know for sure in the next few days!

Hermya321 · 05/08/2010 21:11

Hello all,

Just coming in to do my usual lurk to see what happening down in grove town.

Welcome to the thread Josie this is a very lucky place.

Cookie I still go into lecture mode whenever I hear that someone is trying. I've told so many people about egg white cervical mucus, it's actually quite embarassing.

Giraffe Are they going to be doing any investigations anytime soon? I didn't realise it had been so long for you. I'm sorry that you're going through that. I hope you're ok.

Crazy People do spot sometimes before a BFP, until the fat lady sings I think you're still in the running.

Flick Nice to see you on the grads thread the other day, I still think of you whenever I come to a roundabout. On the other side of things, Mr Nice voice has betrayed me and has decided to move on to pastures new. I'm very very upset at this as I won't get to see him on my course next year. Instead I'm stuck with the boring lot.

No real news from me, I'm 28 and a half weeks now and only eleven and a bit weeks left until I become responsible for a real live human being.

We're getting sorted with the all stuff that you automatically seem to need with one of these things.

I have also had an embarrasing break down over a packet of muslins the other day and seem to have become a right clumsey thing. I walk into everything at the moment and fall and trip over thin air. Tis very embarrassing.

Well I hope you're all well.

MrsWajs · 05/08/2010 21:55

Holy shit!!!! Is anyone here???

Test I did yesterday has mysteriously turned from a BFN to a faint BFP.

Someone please tell me it's not an evap line???!!! I'm going crazy

If it helps it was a superdrug test.

OP posts:
MrsWajs · 05/08/2010 21:56

Oh my god that even looks ridiculous written down - of course it's an evap line isn't it!

Oh yeah and I'm a minging bin raker to boot lol!!

OP posts:
CaveMum · 05/08/2010 22:09

Mrswajs I'm here - I'm always here!

Not having experience of poas I'm not sure I'm the most qualified to comment.
It is possible it is an evaporation line but you need to rule it out.

I take it FERTD has not turned up yet?

I can only suggest you poas tomorrow morning - concentrated morning pee and all that.
Do you have a spare test? If not is there a 24 hour supermarket that you can go to now to get one?

Keeping my fingers crossed that you are going to get the right result!

Hermya321 · 05/08/2010 22:13

I would say that it was probably an evap line, but just to be sure go get one another test just to make sure and then do it with FMU.

Fingers crossed.

TomboyWife · 05/08/2010 22:16

CD21 and I have one sore boob. How stupid is that?

MrsWajs · 05/08/2010 22:17

Nope still no FERTD, still having cramping but it isn't appearing and also as I said before having more CM. No other obvious symptoms than that.

I only have one more of the same test and a CBDigital, I'm trying to convince myself it's nothing but can't help thinking 'what if??' think I might wait til Saturday morning, giving potential hcg a chance to double (think that's how it works??

OMFG - freaking out!!

OP posts:
Hermya321 · 05/08/2010 22:30

mrswajs You're near the end of your normal cycle length aren't you? Will you be able to last until Saturday morning? You sound like I did before I tested, I ended up getting up at 4am and testing then as I was lying in bed all night just wanting to know.

MrsWajs · 05/08/2010 22:36

haha Hermya I can see me having 2 sleepless nights!! But determined to give it til Saturday!!

My average is usually about 30-32, 28&33 were a few random odd cycles, although I know not much in it. If only I'd been bloody temping this month, I'd know if I was late!

Anyway til Saturday will mean I am definitely late. Although I have been feeling like I was gonna come on for the last 3-4 days but have heard previously that ERTD symptoms and pg symptoms can feel very much the same!!

OP posts:
haloflo · 05/08/2010 22:54

Mrsw I'm here too! Fingers crossed it wasn't just an evap line. From what I understand evap lines are greyish & a bfp will have colour, ie pink/blue. Good luck for when you test again.
