Lanky you most certainly can distract me with that - wowsers!

Tante my pres is on skincare products (which is really ironic if you saw my skin on any day other than the one just before ERTD starts). Obviously I should really have stuck some MN figures in there to justifying my excessive MNing ...

Now, who mentioned something about drinks

gardenpixie · 18/08/2010 15:54

Cavey PMSL at the stalker reference - I've been feeding Mr Garden zinc supplements telling him they were good for concentration: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (might be true I suppose)

TanteAC · 18/08/2010 16:50

PMSL@ garden

womanlytales · 18/08/2010 17:03

Big group hug for you all for making what was a gloomy day much better -- thank you :) I really cherish the support and love and all the cocktails and stories.. Am off for some exercise because I most definitely binged at lunch!!! Take care and have a lovely evening.

alien06 · 18/08/2010 17:23

Zippys I am so sorry to read about your rubbish day, what a complete t**t that doctor was. I can't believe someone can be so inconsiderate.

Sending hugs xx

Kaloki · 18/08/2010 18:04

Oh zippys my love! So sorry to hear all of that

Talking about shoes ladies, guess who spent £150 on some shoes earlier Blush I found my wedding shoes! These beauties. We got all of DP's outfit sorted too.

And just waiting on responses from cake and flower people. Eeeee

Toriajayne · 18/08/2010 18:21

Womanly, he sounds like a complete arse! Echo Crazy, ask for a new specialist. Zippys likewise, what a complete twat!

I forget who asked, but no, I haven't been tested for rubella, I did have the jab when I was 14 though.

Welcome Slowshow Definitely a night for welcome drinks!

Ooooh, gorgeous shoes Kalokai

I have once again spent the day feeling rough and trying to convince myself not to symptom spot and that it's more likely that I have the virus going round my workplace.

TomboyWife · 18/08/2010 21:45

[womanly] and [zippy] good grief, what were these consultants thinking? Angry Absolutely unbelievable!

I've been making DH take a normal supermarket brand multivitamin and a zinc supplement for the past month or two. I'm on folic acid plus the same supermarket brand multi (but just found out from another thread that the Vitamin A is bad for pregnancy, so I'm considering whether to stop taking it).

I made risotto for dinner this evening. Risotto needs a glass of white wine when you first pour the rice into the pan. Guess where the rest of the bottle went? Grin Enjoying my last few days of guilt-free drinking before the 2ww begins.

TomboyWife · 18/08/2010 21:46

Argh, make that womanly and zippy. Too much of the risotto wine.

cherrycobbler · 19/08/2010 00:19

zips and womanly am bloody outraged for you both. Hope you and MrZ are feeling a bit better zippy. I have no wise words to add except to heartily second the what-a-cck school of thought. Staggering to think these people chose to join a profession whose primary purpose is to help others. Loved the IUI crack team of swimmers description garden*!

Thanks for the message lanky and sorry to hear about the potential thyroid isshoo. I have my fingers crossed that it is in fact all about the delayed BFP.

All ok here, just booked a reflexology-for-fertility session. Had intended to book acupuncture but maybe next time! Cycle 7 this time - let's hope the prime number theory is right!

CaveMum · 19/08/2010 07:09

Morning ladies, hope you are all well.

womanly and zippys I hope you are both feeling a little better.

Can I ask those of you who took Agnus Castus how long you think it took to have an effect? I've been on it for almost 3 weeks (I know, impatient much?!) and was just wondering what the average wait for effects was. I did get very crampy after 1 week and thought ERTD might be about to show, but nothing. Saying that I'm feeling a bit crampy again this morning, Day 55, so maybe my luck is changing!

I had a lovely text from DH yesterday saying that he thought "we ought to get cracking with the baby thing"! So it looks as if, once ERTD shows up I shall be joining the main list! Yay! It's only taken 5 months!

Good luck to everyone getting ready to POAS.

Aries are you lurking? I hope you are ok, I miss your posts!

CaveMum · 19/08/2010 07:16

I meant to say cherry do let me know how the reflexology goes. We've got a Chinese medicine centre in our town that will be my next port of call if ERTD hasn't shown up by the end of this month!

Can't remember who asked but a Prime Number is one that can only be divided by itself, so they are:
1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19 etc

One of the theories is that Prime Number cycles are lucky!

highheelsandequations · 19/08/2010 08:11

Sorry cave but have to correct you, 1 is not a prime number, 2 is. A prime number has exactly 2 factors (whole numbers it can be divided by) and 1 only has one factor, 1!

Sorry, I can't help it, it's my job!

Morning all, will catch up properly later, this work business is not good for me.

CaveMum · 19/08/2010 08:25

Correct away highheels I knew I should have Googled it rather than relying on my memory to remember my GCSE Maths lessons Grin

JosieSmith1 · 19/08/2010 08:42

Morning all!

Today is the day for me! Either ERTD will arrive or I will be officially late for the first time ever (although I've been on the pill for years so have always been regulated through that so my normal cycles may differ)

I'm not going to second guess myself anymore so I have no idea whether it's on its way or not Grin but it's definitely not here yet

Truffkin · 19/08/2010 08:51

Hi ladies,

I'm tentatively poking my head round the door to enquire about joining you. Have a 'signing on' gift of pain au choc and frothy coffee (as even for me, it's too early for wine.

So my intro; been with DP for 6 yrs, married 3 and never interested in babies until he made some broody noises about 12 months ago. Have dithered since then and after deciding my long term career plans are not with my current employer, decided to go for it now and hope for a natural career break before moving on to the next challenge! I had my implanon out almost 4 weeks ago and no AF yet, although it's been 8 yrs since my last so am not getting impatient just yet.

Hope that doesn't sound to emotionally removed. From the situation, difficult to describe quickly and don't want to waffle on long in my first post.

crazybutterflylady · 19/08/2010 08:54

Morning morning!!

The prime numbers talk sent a shiver down my spine... pavlovian response to maths :) highheels I frowned and nodded along to your correction but still have no idea why 1 is not a prime number. Once a dunce always a dunce... haha!

Anyway I like that 2 is because I am on cycle 2 and I WILL BE PREGNANT THIS MONTH.

Thanks for doing the list flick hope you have a good day

cavey how exciting that you might be on The List!

Morning Josie - v exciting time for you too. Is this your first month off the pill?

crazybutterflylady · 19/08/2010 08:58

Welcome Truffkin!

Pain au chocolat is definitely currency round here! I'll have a skinny latte please!

I am a bit of a newbie here too and the ladies are lovely. We have some fabulous fonts of knowledge and some great senses of humour (sense of humours?!). Anyway, YKWIM :)

Hope this thread is lucky for you! x

felicityFlick · 19/08/2010 09:04

Have had a quick skim higheels am feeling your pain- working all day is not good for my MNetting :( BOO!!!

Hope the lovely zips and womanly are feeling a bit brighter today. Am glad the power of the Frolickers managed to raise a smile from both of you lovely chicks xxx

kaloki LUSH shoes!!!! I am so excited for your wedding, when I was filling in my new school diary I went past 11th september and thought of you and felt excited :) It is so soon :)

Good morning crazy bet I've crossed posts with you as I have been writing this for ages and you normally pop on in the morning to wish us a cheery hello :)

lanky Mr. Lank is so lucky to have you! You are so thoughtful getting him those manly presents- I would never think to get Mr. F those sorts of things cos I have zero interest in DIY. Hope your work is going ok today, am not sure what you do actually?

cave on my packet of Agnus Castus it says that it is 'a slow working drug and best results are shown after three months' This is not the exact wording but am at work and my tablets are at home. I know that it is recommended to be taken for at least three cycles all the way through before results are seen. I know that's not what you want to hear- sorry :( So cute about your DH. YIPEEEEEEEEE to you being on the main list, that was a real milestone for me.

tante I feel your pain! I used to teach Geography and RS in a tough secondary school in East London and had many a 'challenging' class. Now I work in a lovely international school in Hong Kong where my children are heavenly and none of my classes are challenging. The main challenge I have now is preparing enough work for them! English is the real deal (and maths higheels!) so I expect you are under added pressure- eeekkk! My little sister gets her results next week too. She is very nervous! Do you have AS results out today or just GCSE's next week? If so, hope they were fab!

Hope you get on well with reflexology cherry! When is it booked for?

Good on you with the risotto wine tomboy! You are making me hungry with all your talk of risotto. It's nearly my tea time here and am trying to diet so there will be nothing exciting for my dinner! Have a wedding in 6 weeks that I have a dress to squeeze into Hmm

toria I am symptom spotting like a loon too. (not that I am calling you a loon of course!) Are you still on for next Friday? Only seven more wake ups after tomorrow :) When do you think you ovulated?

Anything interesting in your skin care presentation that we need to know about for when we are yummy mummy's garden Wink Anymore signs of ERTD? Say no!

For all the ladies feeding their DH supplements Mr. F has been taking the Fertilaid that I recommended to zips since March!I bought a job lot on Ebay that had to be shipped from the US (obsessed, me?)and he has to take three pills a day which he does- bless him. BTW, he has no (known) problems with his sperm I just thought I would be on the safe side Hmm he does put up with a lot from me and my obsession researching /preparation!

JosieSmith1 · 19/08/2010 09:08

Welcome Truffkin I am fairly new too but have already driven everyone mad with my crazy symptom spotting! Grin

Crazy this is only my second month off, last month was regular as clockwork but that doesn't mean this month will be I suppose. I was young when I started on pill so AF hadn't become regular before I started so I don't really know what my natural cycle is yet

felicityFlick · 19/08/2010 09:09

Told you crazy ;) I am the same with maths. It actually makes me feel sick! I get in a right fluster when some of the A-level Geography I teach gets a bit maths like. Yucky :) Yes you will pregnant this month my girl! You are not a newbie BTW, it's like you've been here forever xx

What an exciting day josie!! I hope your cycles are all settled and back to normal quickly. Have you thought about when you might test?

truffkin a pain au chocolait for me too :) YUMMMMY. Am truly starving now. Welcome to the madness that is the Frolickers

JosieSmith1 · 19/08/2010 09:16

Flick I have already tested early Blush and got BFN but think if ERTD doesn't arrive today I'll probably run madly go to asda and get some tests for the morning. I am obssessed and can't possibly wait any longer!

crazybutterflylady · 19/08/2010 09:23

That's very exciting Josie!

flick when are you going to test??

womanlytales · 19/08/2010 09:34

Good morning ladies,
Thank you again for the support - I did end up eating too much yesterday though stayed away from the triple chocolate sundae - thank god! I am over the whole specialist incident.
Welcome trufkin - have been reading the list whilst having porridge and imagining it to be pain au choc...lol.
cave when I asked my trud specialist about my period being late he did say that it's possible to induce a bleed with progesterone... is that something your gp might have considered? On the hopeful side, I know of a friend who didn't have a period for more than three months and amazingly fell pregnant. Each on our own paths.
I am on cycle #5 which is prime -- will this be the lucky one?

best of luck to all of you testing tomorrow. Here's a rush of bfps.
