Pants big hugs.

Well sweep not possible due to cervix being a stubborn bugger so booked for induction in ten days. Consultant said it's 50 50 chance of successful vbac so i'm preparing myself for a section.

With dd the induction process started on the Thursday and I finally had her by emcs on Saturday and I don't want to do that again. I was so tired, hungry and drugged up that I don't really remember it and my poor dh was so worried because dd was in distress. I would rather have a section than be induced.

Was really pissed off this morning but after long chat with dh I realise that if I end up having a section that I haven't failed. It doesn't matter how dd gets into the world we will just be so happy to have her.

Sorry it's a me me me post , big waves and hugs to all you chavs Grin

notheroldie · 20/01/2011 08:16

Lemony lets hope things start naturally before then.

I tried vbac with my second DS, first was an emergency c/section back to back big fat (9lb 13)baby.
I went into labour naturally, but by jiggery was it painful, I wasn't dilatetd at all and in massive pain, centred round my prev scar. Luckliy I saw the consultant who let me have an epidural,( I was begging for a c/s) and after 10 hrs only 2 cm. As baby hb was dipping I had another Emer c/s and was mighty relieved.
Another back to back 9lb 11oz boy.

I didnt feel like I had failed. In fact I was really glad I didnt 'try' any longer, because the result you want is a healthy baby however it comes out. If your body isnt playing the right game and letting it, then I say let those Docs in and get it out!! You have the right attitude, so long as your DD is here is doesnt really matter how, so long as you are both ok.

Pants glad the erpc went well. are you going to have counselling? I've got a session booked and I'm relieved I will be able to rant about it.
Rest and recover. xx

Lot about me there again I see, Selfish madam I am. Sorry Blush

Hello All! We are off the mark! Shagwatch No1 Grin (Does anyone know how to do a hash mark on a MacBook?)

Bit tired today! (can't think why!)

Beer anyone?

Lemony Have you tried reflexology to set off a baby who is refusing to budge? It got ds to get a move on! That and raspberry leaf tea and clary sage in the bath! Good Luck

Fairygodmother1 · 22/01/2011 20:26

Bring on the alcohol!!!!

HMI went so well it turned into ofted!!!!

Bloody tired too - SW#2, lots of alcohol, DH's b'day, cd10! Also think ovulation is happening early as had ewcm for 2 days! I should just give up trying to work my body out!

Lemony fingers crossed it all goes well!

Yay! Um lets hope we see BFP this month!!!

Youngie how are you?

Lou The chief inspector's name could be made chavvy...Hmm

HalleLouja · 23/01/2011 16:30

As long as it wasn't offwithyourhead literally. Get shagging x

UmBongo · 23/01/2011 18:31

Got dh's man flu. Snotty! Will have to get energy from somewhere as on deh 15 and need to try and look capable of shagging not just falling asleep. Intravenous Lemsip methinks.

Bicnod · 23/01/2011 18:32

Pants so sorry lovely :( sending huge hugs x x

Nother fantastic news for you - that is wonderful :)

Lemony fingers crossed baby muffin decides to put in an appearance soon - I remember the last few weeks/days well and how tiresome it is.

I am absolutely knackered - DS is entering the terrible twos early it would seem and spent most of this weekend tantrumming. Oh joy joy joy deep joy.

15+3 and hopefully will get to hear heartbeat at midwife appointment this week :)

Good luck to all you shagwatch participants - anyone using the delightful preseed? I reckon that + bum the air for 10 minutes after the deed had been done + ov sticks is what won us our bump.

Bicnod · 23/01/2011 18:34

UmBongo xposts - boo to flu :( if you manage a shag when you're feeling so rotten surely you'll win a baybeeeeeeeee for effort alone?!

Fairygodmother1 · 24/01/2011 20:02

Why can we never get away with falling asleep during but they're allowed to straight after????

Lemony any news yet????

Biccy so glad things are going well even with the terrible twos!!!
I saw EWCM today, on CD 11 SW 2 & used concieveplus on Sat so will use it again tonight! I need to win!!!!! Grin

notheroldie · 24/01/2011 20:05

You shaggers need to keep trying to win... theres only room for 63 more comments before the thread is full....
I'm waving my pom-poms like crazy for you all...

Squeshie · 24/01/2011 23:12

Awh don't I'm for the win, only twice! But watch out next month ;) x

Hope you are all well, I have lurgy from school, so nice of the precious ones to share their germs! Umbongo so know what you mean about the energy needed. Lots fo vitamins, fluids and exercise self prescribed, must get in tip top shape... ermm if only I felt like it! xxx

harassedinherpants · 25/01/2011 14:51

Sodding, stupid laptop!! I've lost count of the amount of posts I've typed and it's eaten them somehow Angry.

Any news from Lemony?? Do you think no news is good news?!

Oh god I'm going to have to swi'ing aren't I?! In fact any shagging would probably be appreciated by dh lol, bless him. Have booked an appointment with my kinesiologist for next week to see if she can sort my hormones out again. I swear it was her that won me a bfp in the first place!

Squeshie - boo to school lurgy. Hate school germs!

Biccie I'd forgotten I had some luuurvely preseed, thanks for reminding me. I think Wink.

notheroldie · 25/01/2011 15:07

Yeah LEMONY ...... whats going on?

Squeshie, Umbongo, Fairy , and Harassed, its up to you gals now, ... May shagwatch commence!

I'm feeling sick as a pig and completely knackered. I forgot how bloody awful pregnancy is. For me its like being poisoned until I have no will to do anything. I envy those who bloom in pregnancy. I love the outcome, of course and dont get me wrong I would rather be pregnant than lose yet another wee baby. But its like an illness for me, and its draining :(

harassedinherpants · 25/01/2011 16:06

Good signs *Oldie", but I know it's horrid. I'm the same in early preg.

I'm terrified of being prg again at the moment tbh, just my broodiness is stronger I think lol. But then I suppose it's early days still, erpc was only last Tuesday. Still taking folic acid so can't be that put off!!

Fairygodmother1 · 25/01/2011 20:07

Boo to lurgy Squeshy I've been well for a week so fingers crossed it stays that way!

I'm hoping no news is good news for Lemony.

SW#3!! CD12, lots more EWCM today & a weird aache around my pubic bone again this evening like I had a few weeks ago. Weird Hmm but gone now! I think my body just likes to make new symptoms for everything!

Wish I could sympathise Oldie but I don't really know what early pg is!!!! Sad

Pants just take it slowly to see how you feel.

xxxx

harassedinherpants · 25/01/2011 20:33

Can I swear??!! For ffs, I went to the docs today thinking I had a water infection but I don't and they think I have a bit of infection in my womb Sad. I have some huge horse tablets antibiotics, and signed of work for another week.

You know that saying it never rains but it pours?? That's the story of my life at the moment!!

Fairy - fingers firmly x'd for you this month lovely.

notheroldie · 25/01/2011 20:42

Oh Pants thats not good. I really hope you get better soon. You don't need this!
I hope the pills work and you can start to recover properly.
Feet up, and heres a bottle of white lightening, might make you pee lots I dunno.

Fairygodmother1 · 25/01/2011 21:19

Of course you can swear - we're Chavs on here!!!
Aww Pants!!! I kinda know what you mean (in a different way of course) I had the back in spasm, the sinusitis & then that period pain from hell!!!
I hope the infection isn't too bad & gets sorted!

Youngie white lightening works for the drunkards so should work or can I offer you vodka & cranberry??? Grin

UmBongo · 25/01/2011 21:20

Oh Sorry Pants that is truly pants! I hope the horse tablets work and all infections bugger off.

Not good here, still snotty haven't managed any more swi and now on day 17 so will really have to try or will be yet another month written off.

On the plus side, today is my due date from last summer and have managed not to blub all day, not really threatened too either! I thought today might be difficult but it seems I have managed!

HalleLouja · 25/01/2011 21:54

Frenchknickers hope the infection is killed soon. Poor you.

Fivealive I knew your due date was coming up. Hugs and love to you too. feel free to cry to us.

I think we need some white lightening and a trip to the park with dazza and the crew they will give you swi girlies some action.

Not much from me.

Icedlemonmuffin · 26/01/2011 01:50

Well posting while feeding!

Mini muffin finally arrived on Sunday morning, looks just like her big dd.

Major long and dramatic labour so will just do highlights, waters went Saturday night had every drug going, baby back to back (very painful), failed epidural, theatre for forceps, delivered dd by forceps with just gas and air then had general anaesthetic for third degree tear repair.

Was very tired and thought it was never going to end but thank god for my truely amazing dh who kept me going and did and said every thing right. He was so amazing he asked me afterwards was there any thing more he could of done!!

Big waves and will post again as soon as I get more than one hours sleep.

HalleLouja · 26/01/2011 07:51

Congratulations on the save baking of the mini muffin xxx

Bicnod · 26/01/2011 08:22

WELL DONE LEMONY!!! Grin poor you for the nightmare labour but yay your DH for being a star. Enjoy your beautiful DD - can't wait to hear more about her x x x

Pants that is NOT fair :( poor poor you. How are you feeling now?

Nother I spent the whole of the first trimester feeling rubbish but in last couple of weeks (am 16 weeks now) been slowly feeling less sick and less knackered - hopefully you'll get some relief soon.

Louja how's the bump? Mine is a lot bigger than it was at this stage with DS. I think I'm going to be the size of a small island by the time I give birth :(

HalleLouja · 26/01/2011 08:55

Bump is small still. Was still in normal jeans with Adi at 34 weeks when he popped out!

notheroldie · 26/01/2011 12:13

Lemony you just made me burst out crying. I'm so pleased for you that you have your bundle there right now. Its such fab news!
well done and biggest fattest hugs and a mini squeeze for baby muffin.
