Icedlemonmuffin · 14/01/2011 22:13

Pants I'm really sorry, thinking of you and big hugs.

Oldie congrats and fingers crossed.

Still no baby and feel like crap so going to bed.

notheroldie · 15/01/2011 08:59

Oh PAnts thats really pants.
I'm so sorry for you, I know exactly what its like, and I don't know what to say :(

The preg road sure is a bumpy one, sometimes too many down bumps to make it a happy ride.

Just have a good weep and talk about it, it you can. I still feel wildly angry at losing my 2 beans, I was offered counselling, which I will be doing when they have space.

I hope the ERPC goes well, rest and you can feel sorry for yourself and miserable all you like cos you are grieving.
Many hugs and more biscuits on its way to you xxx

Squeshie · 15/01/2011 14:30

So sorry to hear that Pants! It is crapness - hugs and much love x

And FairyG have a good weep, films/tv are the best excuse, I have been!

I am ttc #1 and will be 31 in September - eek so definitely want to be pregnant by then! A colleague of mine announced to the teaching staff yesterday that she is pregnant, it was a tiny bit emotional for me (held it in, big smile) as she was describing that she'd waited til the 12 wk scan and that she's had a small bleed and had to have an internal scan, the exact same week I was doing the same thing. Life's a little bit of a bitch sometimes but heyho, I am happy for her. I am currently teaching on a maternity contract and all I got yesterday was that oooh you've got another year here etc.. which of course is nice and all but not exactly what I was planning. Got very drunk last night with friends and that silliness has perked me up a little. Just very glad I didn't tell anyone at work because I couldn't cope with the awkwardness of people trying to not be excited around me - the staff are very close and love babies! In fact the only people who do know apart from my and DH are my sister and her bf, my BIL and my three best friends. I couldn't cope with my Mum or MIL knowing, it's funny how we protect people isn't it ? :)

Anyhow after that essay, so sorry had to get it out! Just have to say girls this is the best board ever, you all constantly cheer me up!

Fairygodmother1 · 16/01/2011 10:05

Squeshy You're a month older than me! We're trying for #1 too! OMG! I'm a teacher too!!!! The staffroom is gonna be a nightmare - I've got majpr experience of that. It's awful. You want to be happy for them while your heart is breaking!!!

Lucky for me, the current pregnant one's just gone on maternity leave so I have some breathing space! Maybe I'll be able to get pg without all the pressure around me!

I'm feeling so much better today. P pain has gone, antib's must be working & it's sunny today!

How you feeling Pants - much hugs.

How is everyone?

HalleLouja · 16/01/2011 10:25

Top tips of getting pregnant based on a indepth scientific study of one and its me.

Get your mum to move in with you. Painful but the first month she was here we won our bump.

We also went on holiday and went to FC but not convinced that helped. Think it was the sheer horror of my moving in that did it.

Did I mention my mum is a retired teacher? She can move in with all you ones still with sore bits and maybe that will help.

PS Fairy I want some sun in my neck of the woods its just miserable.

UmBongo · 16/01/2011 12:19

What still no baby lemon! How are we all to cope with another few weeks of this! (And how is Lemony coping of course!!!!)

Mmmmm Lou really not sure I could do the recommended living with my mum! I do get on with her well, but I am lucky as she only lives 5 miles from us so we see her little and often - not 1 week every 2 months like some of my friends. I'm not sure I could share a kitchen with her permanently but thanks for the suggestion! (and thanks for the offer of your mum, but mine is a ret. teacher too!)

HalleLouja · 16/01/2011 12:54

I don't get on with my mum either and she has been living here for 4 months - feels like forever.

notheroldie · 16/01/2011 14:15

This is crazy, my mum is a retired teacher too. I would die if she moved in, or came to live any where near me.
I'll have anyones elses tho :)

UmBongo · 16/01/2011 17:25

Watch it Oldie - sounds like Lou's mum will be on her way round!

Fairygodmother1 · 16/01/2011 18:43

I'm the only teacher in my fam! Thanks for the loan of a mum. Mine lives 5 mins walk & thats bad enough. We are going on holiday with them in Aug Hmm May fall pg then if not before (hoping for before) Grin

My sunshine soon went this afternoon Lou RTD pain came back with a vengance!!! I thought I was dying! Had a bath & came to bed (3pm) & now the pain has gone!!!!! I'm really sufferring this month!

Lemony We'll all help push if it helps!!!! Can't wait for Cherry Muffin to get here! The excitement is getting too much! Wink

Icedlemonmuffin · 16/01/2011 22:31

My auntie is a retired head teacher and I couldn't live with my mum, not even for a second.

No baby muffin yet, not due till Thursday but I am seeing consultant on Wednesday for a lovely sweep so hopefully that will get things started.

Dh and dd were talking about when we are having our next baby! I told them to let me get this one out first and give it a few years. Dd is so excited, a baby brother or sister has been on her Christmas and birthday wish list for the past few years.

Squeshie · 17/01/2011 20:56

Fingers crossed we're both preggers by August FairyG - can't believe we're both teachers and 30 :)

I live with my parents during the week as I finally found a permanent job, DH works away most of the week atm so it doesn't matter as much. I don't mind it really :)

GL Lemony hope your little sherbet lemon arrives soon :)

Squeshie · 17/01/2011 22:56

Fingers crossed everyone here is, well those who want to be :) x

Fairygodmother1 · 17/01/2011 23:32

Aww Lemony am so happy that DD is finally getting her wish. My niece has been wishing for a baby girl cousin for 3 years. Someone needs to grant her wish soon!!! Grin

I know Squeshy a kindred spirit!!! Fingers crossed too as we've finally booked our honeymoon (2 years late due to DH losing his job 4 months before we got married so lots of our plans were put on hold)!!!! It's so needed!!!

How you doing Pants?

Um you started ShagWatch yet????

UmBongo · 18/01/2011 17:13

Pants - hope you are managing. Hugs and chocolate on their way!

No sorry FairyG not started shagwatch yet, hoping dh's cold disappears quick sharp though as am on day, er, um, 10 I think now you come to mention it!

Good luck for tomorrow Lemony

Fairygodmother1 · 18/01/2011 21:15

Just popping in to say I may be gone a few days as HMI are in!!!!!!

Wish me luck!

Day 6 here!

x

HalleLouja · 18/01/2011 21:28

So no shagging for Fairy then - fingers crossed their visit is short and sweet.

Good luck Lemony with tomorrow.

Fairygodmother1 · 18/01/2011 22:07

Not yet Lou but a friend of mine has fallen pg when she had visits from them so might work for me!

Yeah good luck Lemony!!!!!

harassedinherpants · 19/01/2011 12:39

I'm here! Had an erpc yesterday, all went well, and I'm just crampy and tired now. Feel very sad, and a bit numb. Hospital was fab, but it's just so final. Bloody doctors phoned to ask me to repeat urine test last week before all this happened, and they hadn't a clue what had happened and I had to go through it all with them. Could have done without that!!

lemony - ooh so excited for you!

UmBongo · 19/01/2011 17:08

Well done Pants pleased you have come back to us after that horrible day. Well done for managing to explain to the doctors too. I found that there is no communication between hospital and doctors, not even the community midwife knew I had miscarried - I sent a message to her with one of my preggy friends.

Good luck FairyG I have heard that HMI are good causes of babies, I'm sure someone on the buses (when I used to travel on them!) got preg when they were in their school! I suppose it is all part of the think about something else other than babies idea!

Squeshie · 19/01/2011 19:36

I agree Umbongo and maybe it's a way to relieve tension too ;)

Hope the inspection goes well FairyG :)

Hugs to Pants too x

Fairygodmother1 · 19/01/2011 19:43

Big Hugs Pants Fancy coming out on the beers with DH & I for his b'day Friday...also good news at work for me I hope?! Grin

Just popping quickly while emailing plans about!!!

HalleLouja · 19/01/2011 20:32

Pants sending you big hugs, chocolate and white lightening. I hope you and your family are being looked after.

FairyG if you do win on the baby bingo this month you will need to name the baby after one of the inspectors, especially if they have a chavvy name.

Lemony any news??

Fivealive how are things with you? I hope you get your two lines soon so you don't need to participate in shagwatch (that goes to the rest of you lots too).
