Am in pit just hiding it well.

We went to Whipsinade Zoo yesterday and had a fab afternoon and watched Ocean's 13. Lets just say Brad, George and Matt Damon all in one movie makes a happy girl. Who cares about plot or anything stupid like that!

Bicnod · 25/07/2010 09:20

I'm there too so at least we're in good company.

Had a good day yesterday as well - lunch with friends then trip to farm park which DS loved then DS slept through last night for the first time in months which was a bit of a Brucey bonus.

Loujalou · 25/07/2010 09:35

Yay to baby Biccie sleeping. My friend said there are some nice farms in London - one in Kentish Town and one in Vauxhall (or something like that). I need to try them out but we have Whipsinade so close by.

We have been (touch wood) quite like with Adi and his sleeping. Though now he doesn't go to sleep til about 9, unless he doesn't have a nap. Though he usually is happy enough in his cot. Am in no rush to put him in a bed though. At least he is secure in cot and its now at lowest level. Well that is until he climbs out.... then all hell is going to break lose.

hmmm 2 1/2 hours of returning my little monster into bed 1000 times last night makes me a rather SHOUTY GRUMPY mummy.
Plus its only a few days til AF. And if its not AF then I'm just a shouty grumpy mummy!!
(grumpy faced, not very smiley)

UmBongo · 25/07/2010 22:09

Nothing wrong with being shouty grumpy mummy! There is only so much that nice mummy can take before she goes away and leaves her fishwife twin to take over! Sorry you are having a tough time with sleeping at the moment.

Sorry you are in the pit lou and biccie I've got some comfy cushions and lots of white lightning down here, so pull up a cushion and make yourselves comfy! I am just getting pished down here as nothing has changed in my world!

NOTHEROLDIE · 25/07/2010 22:20

Said to Dh I felt a bit queasy this morning...(hope of all hopes), he replied with yeah I felt a bit sick in the night too.

D'oh and double D'oh!
and I thought it was an early symptom. PAH!

Loujalou · 26/07/2010 08:51

[Passes over the extra strength white lightening and a new batch of bloody mary cocktail muffins]

Makes herself comfortable in pit. Maybe we should get some pictures of some good looking men and ear plugs so we can't hear our kids (if we have any).

OP posts:
NOTHEROLDIE · 26/07/2010 08:57

nearly 9am? yep not too early to start glugging the white lightening.

The pit is getting full there. I'll sling in some toast and butter, and a few decorative wall hangings.
Comfy
Dont worry you wont be in there forever.

NOTHEROLDIE · 27/07/2010 09:01

HELLOOOOOOO......

ANYBODY OUT THERE??

LOU ..?
BICCIE ...?
UMBONGO.....?

are you all still hiding in the pit

Icedlemonmuffin · 27/07/2010 09:37

< Lemon stumbles in with sick bucket in tow >

Hello I'm here!

Slowly being driven mad as it's school hols, dh got a week off work and it's raining! Oh and dh got slightly obsessed with painting the hallway, I just want to lie down and feel crap in peace.

So I will join you in the pit, but will keep sick bucket a safe distance from everyone.

Loujalou · 27/07/2010 10:15

Maybe LemonMuffinTop you should have asked for more hours at work to get out of the way of your DH! You could have had a break

Youngy if you are ever feeling lonely again you can give this place a spring clean. That is what I usually do - though I would never do anything like that to my own home!!

OP posts:
UmBongo · 27/07/2010 10:46

I do venture out of the pit for increasingly long periods at the moment, but still haven't miscarried so will no doubt dash headlong back in when I do. Scan tomorrow, so will know more after that, as I will hopefully keep my head screwed on a bit better than last time when it fell straight off, and be able to ask a few more questions!

Loujalou · 27/07/2010 11:01

FiveAlive you are allowed to lose the plot. I would be. But maybe having a list of questions to take with you just in case your head totally falls off.

OP posts:
Icedlemonmuffin · 27/07/2010 13:28

UmBongo give your dh a list as well, my dh remembered more than me. I was crying too hard to even think straight. Big hugs for tommorow.

NOTHEROLDIE · 27/07/2010 17:12

Nice to see you Lemony sorry to hear you still have you head in a bucket. That sucks! I dont know how you cope.
gives large pat on back for sick bucket stamina

Umbongo sorry things STILL havent happened. I really hope they can be sypathetic when advising cos it really is a horrible thing to go through. Hope DH is strong for you. Hugs for tomorrow.

I have gone off chocolate! This HAS to a sign!
AF due any day, tho all a bit vague after MMC and ERPC. I have a heavy womby feeling, iykwim.
Fingers crossed its just a diddy baby getting itself comfy.

Bicnod · 27/07/2010 20:14

Umbongo sorry nothing's happening yet you are definitely allowed to stay in the pit for a bit longer. It's looking quite nice in there now I have to say, I like what you've done with the carpet. Can I have warm stella from the can instead of white lightening (that was my beverage of choice at sixth form).

Louja when you seeing GP?

lemonylady sorry about the sickiness - I found eating salt and vinegar crisp sandwiches helped keep the nausea at bay. Also, those seasickness bands helped a bit. And lucozade sport.

notheroldie - keeping fingers crossed for you - and toes and other bits, but not my legs and it's SWI time for me

Icedlemonmuffin · 27/07/2010 21:42

Well tried the seasickness bands and any thing else there is to try but I'm just one of those ladies who sicks alot! Medical name hyperemesis something. Was sick a bit worse with dd and was still being sick when I was in labour.

Some days it really gets me down but I'm just so grateful to have got this far , after three years and mmc, so even when I'm crying because I just can't eat I'm saying sorry to dh.

Well enough about me someone pass me a can of warm skol!

Forgot to say nine times wow sore bits must be sore

NOTHEROLDIE · 27/07/2010 22:57

Go Bicnod !! nine to beat.
It could be your lucky 2 lines if you keep it up!

Lemony I really admire your 'guts' for being able to function with all the puking. It is hard to keep happy when feeling totally and utterly shite during pregnancy. The prize is worth it just hard to remember that when feeling crap.
Do you put on any weight or is it hard to keep anything at all down, just enough to function?

Icedlemonmuffin · 27/07/2010 23:15

Not put on any weight as yet, lost a bit ( but had some spare so not a worry).

My diet is limited at the mo, one weetabix for breakfast, porridge for lunch and frosties for dinner. It's boring and bland but it usually stays down. Also taking six tablets a day to try to keep voming to an acceptable level but sometimes the nausea is just too much.

Wouldn't have managed without dh he has taken over all the cleaning and is really good when I'm having a bad day and dd asked why it's called morning sickness when it comes all of the time!

Can't sleep because I had a nap this afternoon when dh was sanding.Hallway looks good though.

Bicnod · 28/07/2010 07:43

Oh blimey lemony - I didn't realise you had actual hyperemesis, you poor poor thing I didn't have that but a friend of mine did and it was bloody awful. Sending huge (gentle so as not to squeeze out more sick) hugs and withdraw my pathetic advice re: seasickness bands and crisps. Hope it passes lovely lady. Oh and it sounds like your DH is a good bloke

nother don't think we're going to win shagwatch this month but i might win a baybeeeeeeee

Loujalou · 28/07/2010 10:01

Well not going to win shagwatch this month as TH is working away from home this week and we are going away with his friends at the weekend. He is back tonight but its likely he is going to be knackered so will have to work hard to get to no 1!

[Throws Lemon some diamond white - you might as well get drunk if you are going to be sick]

Am out of the pit. Well not really but am trying my bestest to do so.....

OP posts:
NOTHEROLDIE · 28/07/2010 10:42

Lemonysicklady I do feel so sorry for you. I just nibbled my way through preg cos the nausea was unbeleivable, I found eating crusts and dry crackers helped. (then used it as an excuse to eat biscuits, cream teas and piled on the pounds, which I still have )
I hope you manage to keep things down, you poor love.

[Have a slurp of Lambrini, as its still early am!]

Hey BICNOD I'm keeping my eye on you.....

Icedlemonmuffin · 28/07/2010 14:23

Lambrini and frosties !! Yum

was glad when I could tell people about the two lines, as I was getting funny looks when I was chucking my guts up on the way to school.

Lou sorry about the lack of shagging, maybe you need to get the turkey baster out.

UmBongo · 28/07/2010 16:55

Hi all, well, went to see the day unit at hosp this morning, had scan, no change (no surprises there then) and I am going to go back on Monday to take the first tablet, then back on wednesday to take the rest, and stay all day until it has finished. Woohoo, day off, party on! You will all have to come with me to keep me company in the lavs at the hospital - boob tubes and short skirts at the ready, although you will have to go and hang around outside the maternity entrance with the pregnant ones in dressing gowns if you want a smoke!!!

Good luck Lou for your first round of bingo this evening.

Nother when did you have your mmc and erpc?

NOTHEROLDIE · 28/07/2010 18:02

umbongo my mmc was in may, had private scan at 9wks, then NHS one a week later, they booked me in the next day for ERPC. At end of May.
