Hope I'm not tempting fate with that thread title Grin
This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations Smile .

You are all wonderful and I’m now going back to my mince pie and stollen (never too early!).

Crocs slippers, could I just ask if they have arch support?

Thanks for the baby born tip, I bought the tiny treasures twins last week (currently 50% off at argos) and these clothes should fit. Bargain as so many outfits are just over £2 with the codes. Also bought the carrier! Dd (4) will be delighted. Think I might need a wardrobe for the doll clothes now!!

can someone share the baby born codes again please ? Got my youngest a baby Annabelle and hoping the clothes might fit
ETA nevermind I found them ☺️

Oh that's annoying. I've got a feeling one of mine turned up with a sticker on it too. Not ideal when that's the actual box you're gifting it in...

I've gone back and ordered more. This time I noticed on checkout that there were 2 packing options. The default is "reduce packaging, dispatch in manufacturers container". The other choice is "Hide what's inside, dispatch in Amazon packaging"

Ordinarily I'm buying for my own use and welcome less packaging, but at this time of year a lot of my purchases are gifts, so I'll need to choose the latter option. I wouldn't mind, but the packer seemed to go for all the options available - 1 in a box, 1 in an envelope and 1 with a label - when it would have been better to pack all 3 candles together in 1 box or 1 envelope 🤷‍♀️

I doubt it, they're pretty flat. DS2 has them, not me, & I don't suppose he'd be looking for that (doesn't care about much 🙄😆).

DD2 has eczema and uses Aveeno products but wants to find alternatives because of Aveeno's animal testing. Can anyone recommend and alternative that does travel size/mini bottles that I can put in her advent calendar that way we can test them without wasting too much if they prove unsuitable?

Also gluten free chocolate recommendations please? I bought some vegan free from recently and it was horrible, very sugary and impossible to melt turning grainy immediately.

Thank you.

I've got sensitive skin and swear by the weleda baby face cream and Clinique moisture surge. Shame about Averno as their balms are lovely.

Elpheba · 20/09/2026 22:59

@Fuckingfuckssake you need the unfurgettable style to get croc shoes but in slipper form- they are amazing but haven’t reduced by much yet. I did get a pair for £25.19 delivered in November last year so am hoping to get them again this year!

hugsandpugs · 20/09/2026 23:08

I can’t seem to get the shipping code to work for starfish project! Keeps saying code isn’t valid. Anyone else had the same problem?

hugsandpugs · 20/09/2026 23:11

Ignore above comment! When I’ve gone to next page of checkout somehow it’s taken off the £5 shipping cost 💕

Not sure if it's just luck but I find that when I tick the dispatch in amazon package box it's less likely to be an item that's been returned and resold too!

Does the connetix ball run seem a good price on Amazon atm? £63 down from £85.
It feels early to buy something pricey but if it's unlikely to go down more I will take the risk!
amzn.eu/d/0eRvB2yg

Camel camel camel suggests this is the lowest price it has ever been on amazon.
