Thread 2 - the one where I try to get organised

[Reastie]

Hope I'm not tempting fate with that thread title
This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

You are all wonderful and I’m now going back to my mince pie and stollen (never too early!).

Thanks @User202242 , the label comes off easily enough, it just leaves a thin sticky film of glue on the cardboard box. I've swapped the boxes over to get around it.

Hello all. What was the code for free shipping for the Starfish Project please?

These do look great. Trying to order 3 - to take me above the £20 for £5 off 1st order using the code on site FIVE4U- and the code says invalid. Any ideas?

@ChildrenOfTheQuorn it was LOYALCUSTOMERSHIPPINGCODE and like pp I found I had to be logged into an account for it to work. Got some lovely earrings for MIL for £7.60 delivered!

@keepincool - after the hairdryer trick, very very gentle application of a nail varnish remover pad may take off any residual stickiness without damaging the cardboard packaging.

£10 off £50 spend at Mountain Warehouse with code HURRY10

Qwertee have some good discounts on their T-shirts

Sorry can't remember who was after barbie outfits but just saw this on a fb group. In the range for £10

I can't add a lot but I volunteer in a charity shop and we sell so many children's books that look first hand. Often for 50p or so

Worth checking your local Aldi bargain corner As they have some good stuff reduced to silly prices.

Got the travel version of the Chameleon for 49p! Sadly there was only one left in my local store. They had various other stuff like colouring pencils too.

Does the connetix ball run seem a good price on Amazon atm? £63 down from £85.
It feels early to buy something pricey but if it's unlikely to go down more I will take the risk!

I saw these cute ‘snackettes’ with zip fastener and bag clip in Aldi today reduced to £1.39 and thought they would make good stocking fillers.

I got it for £62 last October from The Kid Collective (where it is currently £67 in their 20% off connetix sale if you'd prefer to support indie!) - I think low sixties is a good price for it! I think there are sometimes good black friday deals on Connetix too but I dont think I've seen it lower than around that price.

ANGEL15 gets an extra 15% off at Lisa Angel - including on sale items

Scandiborn has 20% off connetix. They also have £5 off a £50 spend for signing up to their news letter. Not sure if it stacks though.

WELCOME10 stacks with free shipping too!

We got the smyths own version last Christmas and it looks very similar in principle and cheaper!

To the poster looking for heated gilets, they have them in Costco for £35.

Love you for this, I'm doing an order this evening and I was so pissed off to miss the free postage code for starfish!

You should still be able to use the code - just log in and go to checkout.

Thanks for the baby born tip, I bought the tiny treasures twins last week (currently 50% off at argos) and these clothes should fit. Bargain as so many outfits are just over £2 with the codes. Also bought the carrier! Dd (4) will be delighted. Think I might need a wardrobe for the doll clothes now!!

Scentish do some nice bath bombs a bit cheaper then lush, they are a fairly small company based in Lancashire. They also do lovely wax melts

I also bought one for my neighbour last year from Amazon - she loves it - keeps her warm when she's dealing with her horses!!

Oh that's annoying. I've got a feeling one of mine turned up with a sticker on it too. Not ideal when that's the actual box you're gifting it in...

Thank you @hugsandpugs for this hint. Perfect gift for my eldest whom I was struggling to think what to buy for Christmas. Eldest will be very happy with this gift.

For those with a blue light card, you can get a little extra 10% off on top of the sale price.
