Thank you so much for all the recommendations. Love this thread 🥰

If you have Ocado, they are selling the Bonne Maman advent for 28. Cheaper than the BM website.

Famousthehero · 18/09/2026 05:34

£22 for this Owala free sip bottle - not sure what the going rate is but that’s cheaper than the others listed. The blue one is reduced too, but slightly more expensive still (also don’t know if these are still trendy, remember they were last year).

That’s a great price for an Owala, thanks for posting! Now to persuade DD that white is the best colour to have… 😉

If anyone spots the lego city advent calendar drop in price I'd love a heads up.

Also interested in a set of rainbow drawers for lego storage and a free-build lego set with parts in like windows, doors, etc.

Dd loves lego but she likes rebuilding and we dont have storage space for built up sets.

WantALieDown · 18/09/2026 07:35

@Mumbythesea1the Dusk outlet is definitely great for cheaper, high thread count linen, if you don’t mind getting pillowcases and duvet covers that don’t quite match.

Nomdeplumeforthis1 · 18/09/2026 08:10

@Pastapenguinid look in Argos for the Barbie doll including checking clearance.
the packs are a bit tricker- you can get packs on eBay but they are rubbish. I’d check out Vinted or for amazing outfits some people sell on Etsy.

FantasticatHeadShouldersKneesandToes · 18/09/2026 08:35

@pastapenguin smyths did a lovely Barbie and Ken set, it was 2 dolls and then various matching clothing. I've looked on the website and it doesn't look like they still sell it, but it may be worth looking in store, as there may be some still around

Terry’s Fabrics have some good deals on 100% cotton bedding. I can’t speak to the quality because I’ve been umming and ahhing about placing an order since someone shared their site on the previous thread. Bedding and pjs are my two weaknesses 😂

www.terrysfabrics.co.uk

I’ve personally not used them, but my friend who makes curtains etc swears by their fabrics

FantasticatHeadShouldersKneesandToes · 18/09/2026 08:42

@pastapenguin these screenshots show the smyths set, and one that came up that is on ebay. I purchased ages ago so i can't remember how much the smyths one was, possibly 40.00, so the ebay doesn't seem too high priced, it is a nice set.

The Casdon Build-A-Bear Workshop Stuffing Station is reduced to £19.99 on Amazon this morning - might be useful for anyone who missed out on the individual bears when they were reduced

@Mumbythesea1 Have you tried your local garden centre? Our local one has lovely bits of garden furniture which are in the sales - not anything we need but we still like to look around at stuff. Wickes is worth a browse too.
We do the same as you and buy something we really want as opposed to need when it comes to Christmas.

Thanks so much for this. Just sorted two presents and treated myself to a necklace. All going to a brilliant cause too ❤️

I’m slightly nervous about these little Lego dupe Xmas tree dec advent calendars but thought I might buy one in good time and take a view on quality. £9.99 and £0.99 delivery cost looked worth a punt? Lots of different sellers all with exact same product so clearly being churned out in the Far East. Still - could be cute!

Hi,

CODE: THANKYOU gives a discount on Starfish Project purchases.

However, before purchasing, please be aware that the project seems to be closing down at the end of September and there is a statement on the site that says all sales are therefore final:

All orders placed are final. We are unable to accept voluntary returns, exchanges, or change-of-mind refunds. Your statutory rights regarding faulty or misdescribed items remain unaffected prior to our final closure date of September 30, 2026.

Thanks. I can second that these are the comfiest underpants I own! You usually pay for returns but they do free returns from your first order. Handy if you're between sizes, I found the smaller size was the better fit for me.

Oooh thanks for this, have grabbed a few for myself plus some for presents! Whst a shame theyre closing down though.

And @IlovePond thank you (no pun intended) for the code - it initially said it wasnt valid but when i went through to payment page it reduced the price. Bargain!

weebarra · 18/09/2026 11:27

My email from Starfish says they are relocating their warehouse rather than closing down, but I’ve ordered anyway - DD has ‘borrowed’ my ring from there so I’ve got her her own!
