Thread 2 - the one where I try to get organised

[Reastie]

Hope I'm not tempting fate with that thread title
This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

You are all wonderful and I’m now going back to my mince pie and stollen (never too early!).

I'm the OP about the seeds and will keep an eye out as I'm signed up to their emails (and I usually get one daily)

Will post if I see them elsewhere too. I know Wilko also sell them, but they seem to be £3 a packet there. There is a £5 off your first Wilko order, but it has to be over £50

Their products are lovely. Made in the north west I think! Their advent calendar is always a bargain with full sized products for about £50? Bought one two years ago.

Yes, it is a bargain! I may have one on preorder 🤭

Urban outfitters has a sale on. I would say not huge bargains but worth a look.

If anyone is shopping for plouise, there are 3 of the £22 Bad Bitch gift sets for £30. Sorry ...won't let me link at the moment for some reason

Thanks re the Gruum advice, I’ve ordered loads! I’ve preordered the advent calendar for myself and DD, thank you.

Stripe and Stare have a good sale at the minute. Easily the most comfortable underwear brand I’ve ever worn but ££££. DD (mid 20’s loves them too - I buy her items for presents). They have pyjamas in the sale too.

Footasylum Stanley for £30

Got an email notification that the jellycat smudge cow was in stock with the white company, sadly it disappeared from my basket as I was checking out and is now out of stock again! So close

Anyone recommend bellybuttononline.com ? Just come up on my Facebook, says it’s a British company. They have some fab gifts especially in the clearance section.
they have striped mum and dad mugs in there too, I know someone was looking for parent mugs, sorry can’t remember who. Also some cheap relative Xmas cards

@fishfishjump not heard of them but I’d be wary, 0 reviews for them on Trustpilot. It also says they’re American based on there. But they seem to have physical stores so may be fine, just a bit odd they have no reviews.

@fishfishjump , I bought stuff from Bellybuttononline in Aug, all good and no stress. Was recommended here.

For any bubble tea fans, Lidl have a bubbleology set on offer at £6.99 with a Lidl Plus card. My kids love these so hot them one each,

Also Lidl had Japanese themed things like ramune juice(the bottle with the little glass ball)for £1.69

Thanks @Ehunt1 The Japanese stuff, particularly the drinks, went down a storm with my older teens last year and I couldn’t remember when they came in store.

@fishfingersandchipsagain they also have sushi making kits at £2.99 if you have the Lidl Plus app

I promise I don't work for Lidl. But they have the kids waterproof trousers and coats and waterproof suits in today too. They are brilliant. Unfortunately my local one didn’t have the size I need

@Neja you can do graffiti art workshops in the holidays at Leake Street if you can have a day in London.

Whoever was looking for Winnie the Pooh stuff Poundland have these cute splashproof speakers in as well as smart watch straps and some sort of stickers for electronics - there is a Stitch version too if that helps anyone

I can never find the posts I want!
can anyone tell me where the place was for the cheap rolls of brown paper please?

Can anyone remember what the Pintail Candles offer was last year?

Thank you for the craghopper trainers at sports direct and the Thompson and Morgan seed packets. Can't remember who originally posted about either but both have arrived and that's my Christmas shopping started. Mind you the trainers are for me but a great bargain.

TK Maxx have Winnie the Pooh tins of tea - I saw the jumbo one in store yesterday and it looked like a good one to have for storing pasta afterwards - it is huge.

This is really dull but here goes!!
money is tight in our house and so at Christmas instead of spending money on presents for each other DH and I like to instead use the money on things that will make our lives a bit nicer! This year we’d like:
Nicer quality bedding (a higher amount of cotton would be amazing)
a pub style bench for our garden
a toasted sandwich maker

has anyone seen any deals for these things?

M&S had some lovely bedding in their sale which started this week.

This one is a fab bargain that will probably appeal more to girls. 50% off with the code TOYS50, which brings it down to £16.

A kittycorn, a puppycorn and a frozen eggzania one. The eggzania alone retails for about £15 alone.

My (just turned) 7 year old will LOVE it.
