Thread 2 - the one where I try to get organised

[Reastie]

Hope I'm not tempting fate with that thread title
This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

You are all wonderful and I’m now going back to my mince pie and stollen (never too early!).

Oh no, now I’m getting tempted for myself 🫣

I blooming love Oliver Bonas. One has recently opened in my home town. It makes me very happy especially as I’ll be in the shopping centre on fri. I always pop in for a browse. I’ve picked up some excellent things for birthdays & Christmas gifts in the last 12 months from their website.

Where do you live? You can do tours of the graffiti art in London

Thank you so much, you sent it perfectly xx

Would really appreciate an Argos voucher if anyone has one please - spending £100+

Someone was looking for candy canes - Sostrene Greene had them instore for 34p (can’t see them online though). Also had loads of nice stocking fillers (I got a floral design sudoku book), Christmas crafts etc.

I would say it’s worth going to a store though as p&p is quite expensive vs the cost of the products.

A boring one but nice reduction on Adidas socks on Amazon - size 2.5 - 4 UK only £3.06 amzn.eu/d/02yDGOIz

Excellent service from White Fox, ordered in the sale just before 5pm yesterday afternoon and it was delivered lunchtime today. Can’t fault them.

I hope I didn't imagine it but someone was looking for white poodle gifts? Saw this in the Next sale thought it was quite a good reduction.

I would love a Boden code if anyone has one please?
thank you xx

The Entertainer store near me had Hello Kitty blindbox figures reduced to £2.50 today. Worth a look for any fans (this was Westfield Stratford)

Got my bubble tea potions & some others bits I had picked up to save me paying delivery today, really pleased with them for the price!

@hannahbanana2007that was me I'll be completely honest I wanted one and planned on giving the other to either my mum or SIL as a present so it still felt like a deal. If you sign up on the website and leave it a week they absolutely spam you, annoying as it is, but I got a £5 off credit, 15% of code, free postage and the buy one get one free.

I haven't chose who to gift the other to but my perspective it's incredibly cute, practicable and I was very pleased with my first mini painting - despite not having an absolute clue 😂

For those looking at bargain skincare for teens/adults. Primark has partnered with Korean Skincare brand PureSoul and is now selling Korean skincare. It’s not a dupe rather a budget version of real Korean products. I went in my local Primark today and bought a few bits, prices were ranging from £4.40-£10.

As the owner of a 7y old girl, she loves the following:-
Books: Zoe’s rescue zoo series, Unicornia series, Worst Witch book
Games: Whot!, Qwirkle (travel size), the enchanted forest, Guess in 10.
She loves all/any fluffy stationery /notebooks pens etc (Home
Bargains are great for these) and any sort of craft stuff.

A voucher is also great for this age as they like a nosey around the shops!

Thank you. Just bought this

Much like @sc0ttishlass I was wondering if anyone knows about the kew garden seeds being reduced again please? I had to wait until I got paid and literally that day the price shot up in price. Like most we're working on a budget. I would honestly appreciate some help or advice if we cannot get them, any other recommended alternatives?? Thank you

If it helps anyone, i have a £10 a £30 spend at bloom and wild. voday3h2f4

Hope it can help someone x

Also anyone have a link to floral/patterned glue gun please?
