Thread 2 - the one where I try to get organised

You are all wonderful and I’m now going back to my mince pie and stollen (never too early!).

Regarding tins for the Thompson and Morgan loveky seeds (im the OP about those) I bought a gorgeous Emma Bridgewater tun for them similar to this. Loads on ebay for around £11 / £12 ish. There's also a beautiful one in the shape of a greenhouse but I couldn't work out if it was quite big enough for the packets

Any one looking for head torches without the hat: these are 2 for £9.99 on Amazon right now:

I didn't have to return my items (what would they do with damaged boxes with broken seals anyway I suppose??)

Moonpig has some good offers on just now - look for SEPTEMBER SALE and you'll see.

I've just started looking through it but there's some Cath Kidston Christmas mugs, Lego sets (I have no idea how the prices compare on those though), chocolates, candles etc.

The best bargain I've seen so far is one of the Hotel Chocolat bottles - the Salted Caramel Velvetised Cream is down to £7.50 from £25. Don't know what the dates are like of course, but it might be worth a try!

Matalan new Christmas stock in. 20% off £40 spend, 25% off £65 with code NEWIN

Some oodies £20

Oodie offer

Was somebody after Peanuts merch? Blanket on the oodie sale

I think with YTC, when things get posted on here A LOT more people than post buy from them. So they have a rush of sales that’s way more than their usual workload and things can’t be kept at their usual standard. Not just YTC, I think it happens every year with big bargains. Some are lucky and others are let down because of the influx of purchases.

The Oliver Bonas sale has started ❤️

Thank you, looks great!

Has anyone had a blanket from Oodie and can say what the quality is like?

Boden voucher gone, someone asked via PM at 11 last night so they beat you to it @Mumbythesea1sorry.

Not the blanket, but the oodies themselves are great quality, and if anything too warm!

The Paddington oodie is only £20 in the sale and looks like it would make for
a great present. It’s a lovely dark
blue print too.

If anyone has a Boden voucher they won’t be using I would really appreciate it please. Their boys underwear if the only one DS will happily wear without any sensory complaints and while lovely quality they are super pricey!

Turtle doves have some of their fingerless gloves for £25 a pair and for orders over £30 with code: LUCKYDIP you will receive a free pair.

There is 20% off nightwear at Tu Sainsbury’s online. Might also work with BLC discount for anyone who has it.

Whistlefish have some
nice ones at £6

I’ve just been to my local Morrisons, and they had quite a few bottles of whiskey reduced. I got my Uncle’s favourite Cardhu Gold Reserve for £28.50 from £49 which seems a good price when I’ve googled (currently the same price on Amazon though).

They also had a lot of Lego sets on clubcard price e.g. £18 down to £13.50 or on clearance - from memory there were some of the flower ones, a fountain garden and some Marvel I think. The fountain garden was £45 and when I’ve looked on the Lego website it was originally £89.99, down to £60 something but now out of stock on there.

Thanks for all the bargains so far - I’m very happy with the YTC science kit (no issues with packaging for me but it was several weeks ago), the benefit mascara, the Jacques of London freebies and the Beauty of Joseon boxes. I’m about half a done I think!

There are currently still some good deals on Argos with their 30% off - quite a few Design a Friend dolls and accessories included. I got this for my niece and it is very cute!

@Streetcornerchoirno not a blanket although I have been eyeing them up. My house is full of blankets so DH might divorce me if I get more!
however I have had an oodie coat, sleep tee & we all have oodies and been very happy with them.

I think I've PMed you a code but not sure how private messages work so it may have failed 😀

I can’t remember who was looking for a play kitchen, but just saw this in the ASDA 50% off toys sale. It does require assembly though, but I’m not sure how often they are available ready-built.

I purchased the Kew seeds for two people and managed to get the EB greenhouse tin from Sam Turner & Sons for £5.99. They also had LEGO advent calendars for a whole £1 cheaper than LEGO.com so that’s DS sorted as well.

I have about 4 different ones and the kids fight over them! They’re amazing quality - so thick and soft!

I have 2 questions. Does anyone know if the Kew seeds will br on offer price again? Missed out and they look so lovely.
Also does anyone have boden code? As pp i also buy chikdrens underwear here and need to order.
I ordered 3 pairs of the lands end pjs and they are so lovely. Thank you 😊
