My Yorkshire Trading Company parcel has arrived, and even though I was miffed at paying postage , weight wise I checked and I only paid 2/3 of what it cost them to send . Everything is very well wrapped and no damage. Super pleased with it , about 25 stocking filler type presents , but good ones for £65 . May end up being my bargain of the season .

I've had a bit of a nightmare with YTC tbh. I put in a sizeable order but the packaging was poor and all of them arrived damaged. I requested replacements for 3 items which they agreed to. 2 out of the 3 replacements also arrived damaged. I've reported the issue to customer services. Again. And this time it's radio silence. Honestly, a bit of bubble wrap is not a lot to ask for!

Does anyone have a Lakeland code that they don’t need please?

I had a £95 delivery went missing when Evri were meant to deliver. To be fair they then sent out a repeat order with DPD which arrived pretty well wrapped. But on between times around £15 worth of stuff went out of stock and got refunded. All in all worth it for the bargains but a bit more stress than needed!

That's poor. Still considering my order here.

Has anyone seen a barginous skincare fridge? This is something on my daughters list 😊

Oh no :( Sounds like their parcel packing staff are a bit of a mixed bag!

I have literally just placed my order before reading this - will report back.

£10 off a £30 spend with Bloom and Wild if anyone can make use of it - especially if the jellycat flowers come back into stock!

Thank you so much for this, used it for a friends birthday who now lives far away.

Wallaroo21 · 15/09/2026 22:09

Just a heads up if ordering from Argos. I had a delivery today of toys for my sons birthday. I didn’t notice any mention of it when checking out but they arrived today without any sort of wrapping or box just the toys with a delivery label stuck to them. Luckily I checked on the ring camera and managed to get a neighbour to take them in before we arrived home to all his presents laying on the driveway for him to see!

To those who mentioned the Tobios watercolour painting sets, I would be very careful with this company. Check out the reviews on Trust Pilot. I ordered some last year after seeing a Facebook ad and after reading reviews quickly regretted it and tried to cancel within about half an hour. The customer service replies were all AI generated offering further discounts if I chose to keep them and then radio silence afterwards. I raised a chargeback with my bank and once I told them this I suddenly received a cancellation. Lots of reviews saying the same who never managed to get a product or refund, or saying poor cheap quality.

Just a word of caution based on my experience with them!

I bought the Thompson and morgan seeds -
thanks to the OP who posted these previously as I think my best friend will love them, but any suggestions of a nice tin to store them in and make it more of a gift? I’ve not found much online below about £20 which seems mad!

Tk Maxx is always good for tins I think.

MerylSqueak · 15/09/2026 22:36

Thanks @Puffalicious for the Go Genius tip. I got the English one today.

hannahbanana2007 · 15/09/2026 22:50

My YTC order had a badly damaged item too (it looks like I was sent a return tbh, the box for that item was already opened) - I’ve raised a query with them as their returns process means I would have to pay shipping. Rest of the order was fine though, including the Galt horrible science box which was main reason I ordered!

Thanks for the adidas bag recommendation, just picked up 2 for £7.99 each (not quite the original offer but still 39% off) for my nephew's who are 10 and 12. Will be gifted with a voucher for a sports shop and some sweets. Perfect!

@hannahbanana2007 do you have a Bert’s home store near you? Or a sostrene grene? Both have lovely tins :)
