Thread 2 - the one where I try to get organised

[Reastie]

Hope I'm not tempting fate with that thread title
This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

You are all wonderful and I’m now going back to my mince pie and stollen (never too early!).

these sharpies paint pens are like posca pens, if you meant the 11 yo is into making the art themselves? They have apparently replaced posca for some people. They are also £10 at the moment in Asda, but usually £15-£20

on further investigation it is a dupe 😞apologies @hannahbanana2007

Equivalent on official site is £28, which you've probably seen.

Thank you! For some reason when i searched for pecksniffs yesterday nothing came up.

Ive ordered a bunch of stuff from there to make a little hamper for my brother and sister in law. The iced tea and fig candles in particular were a good deal as apparently theyre normally £20 but reduced to £3.99. So bought multiple as the scent sounds just my kind of thing - love fig and tea!

Also saw a good deal on the dr paw paw lip balms there if anyone could use for stocking fillers?

£10 off a £30 spend with Bloom and Wild if anyone can make use of it - especially if the jellycat flowers come back into stock!

Spider-Man colouring book £1.90 https://amzn.eu/d/0dOb85Ns

My Yorkshire Trading Company parcel has arrived, and even though I was miffed at paying postage , weight wise I checked and I only paid 2/3 of what it cost them to send . Everything is very well wrapped and no damage. Super pleased with it , about 25 stocking filler type presents , but good ones for £65 . May end up being my bargain of the season .

Popped into B&M today where they have all their Christmas stuff out, and lots of it. Was very self controlled, but did buy some little hair clips for DD. Got them in the back to school range but they are velvet - some in a nice Christmas green and some in red. £1 for 2 and they always seem to be ££ in the run up to Christmas.

No worries, thanks for taking the time to look

Thanks for the White Fox tip. Got a hoodie, some sweatpants and a pair of shorts for £40 - not bad! Go through Top Cashback for an extra 4% ish reward.

I have a 25% off for first order with Bloom and Wild. If anyone is interested I will PM.

Could you check this code as would love to use but I cant get it to work!!

@Puffalicious thanks for the the heads up on the board games in home bargains. I got the Go Genius History one and the exploading kittens one. My daughter is going to love them!

Oh I'm so glad! History one sounds great- my niece would love this- I'll keep an eye out for that one in my branch.

Posca pens and stuff to graffiti? Stickerbomb books are good too

Air drying clay went down a treat for my daughter at this age. Cheap, cheerful and many hours of fun.

Airbrushing pens might be good, you can usually get little sets.

@DaringlyDizzy just checked and unfortunately it ended on the 14th! 😞
