Thread 2 - the one where I try to get organised

[Reastie]

Hope I'm not tempting fate with that thread title
This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

You are all wonderful and I’m now going back to my mince pie and stollen (never too early!).

I got a yoto in the smyths 20% off last year. I can’t recommend it enough. I’d be hanging on for offers or just keeping an eye on big shops (Argos, very etc) for their random 20% type deals

Thank you so much, at the moment it is saying no delivery date available when I click on this link but I will keep checking and I hope that it will come back in stock!

Glad I’m not the only one! I went into one yesterday and they asked me what was coming out! Then said they were getting a delivery last night but hadn’t ordered any, maybe I’ll just stick to Primark! Let me know if you have any luck 😊

Adidas bags are £15.98 for me!

White Fox have 40% off their sale items with code EXTRA40. I think some of these prices beat what I paid last year during black Friday.

Assume they've all gone at that price as I managed to get 2 but now only at the higher price, Amazon changes prices so much.

Thank you for this, I checked the sale section of another football club and bagged some bargains for family. Nice to be ahead of the game. (Mugs, hat, umbrella, pjs, the sort of stuff that doesn't matter it was last season as just has logo on).

Prime day will be 6-7 October x

Somebody a while back (maybe on last thread?) mentioned Tobios painting sets, which I think will be fab for my husband but you only seem to be able to get an offer of buy one get one free - not sure why many people would want two of them?! Does anyone know if the offers change please - they are pretty expensive so I would much rather a decent discount off buying one than to get two!

Hi @Datgal my ds 17 and his cousin also 17 but in a different part of the country probably wouldn’t appreciate these. They’re so fickle- sorry to be a downer but I’d maybe ask the recipients parents?

£13.07 for this nice Neals yard hand cream set at the moment

And £15 for this oh links are on the blink frozen Lego set

Hi, does anyone have a Halfords discount code they wouldn’t mind me using please? I love these Christmas threads and all the bargains, thank you everyone x

Not necessarily bargainous, considering the initial outlay, but Latest in Beauty have the Men's grooming advent kit available now. It has quite a bit that I would use myself. Code GROOM10 takes 10% off, plus free delivery - so £89.10 for £700 worth of stuff.

Last year I split it for Xmas stocking fillers & birthday gifts, and I also donated some products to a local men's hostel. There were also a few items that I kept for myself, including a cooling metal eye roller that I still use now.

Tobios mini watercolour kit £16.98, if that's of use?

C&C Bucks Fizz now £4 on Ocado until 6/10

Looks like it's sold out but I am so tempted to get the sprint track one for dd. She is 25 mind you - but F1 obsessed

This just popped up as an advert for on Next those into snoopy if it doesn't have to be Starbucks specific.

@Anendlessseriesofunfortunateevents Hi, thank you for your lovely suggestions. I'm all sorted now for this year - a build a bear but a rabbit, drawing pad and crayons, thanks to lovely peeps here - but I'm making a note of your suggestions for next year. Definitely the glow pens and pad of black paper - I'd actually like that for me!!!

Yes, I tried to order more but they were showing OOS last night. They've now found more but put them back up. Keep an eye for reductions again, they change so quickly!

Thank you@Raghnaid- I’m not sure if this is a dupe as while it says Tobios it’s sold by someone else and the packaging looks different 🧐 will investigate!
