Evening!

I'm a bit tipsy and very tired, but it's been a good day.

Round 2 tomorrow with the roast dinner!

Hi again. Am minimising my use of MN as part of my 'get well/through whatever burnout and peri thing is happening to me' approach.

We are in the red weather warning area so office is optional and DHs school has been closed today and will be again tomorrow.
Thankfully my work is flexible and LOs private nursery has air con and is open so we only need to juggle him for the mornings.

It is ridiculous here. Currently 36°. Was up to 39° today 🥵
DH has setup some complicated fan system and it's working pretty well but it is bloody horrible outside.

Garden isn't doing well. Mini cucumbers aren't going to make it, they just seem to be withering away.
Tomatoes are getting started as are the peppers and chilli but I need to pot them on as they're in small pots. Maybe tonight when it starts to cool.

Fur are you considering days away around Christmas or for Christmas itself?
I love going away for Christmas as long as it's cold. Am looking forward to LO being old enough to be able to do it again.

Picked up two Lilo and Stitch fleece blankets for £3 each in primark this week for the Christmas cupboard and had a couple of small gifts delivered today. The cupboard is looking good

I made the Chocolate Brownie for DD, it smells delicious .
DS is a fan so he'll be allowed a slice if he's good .
DD has a leisurely day planned and we're going to That Larndan on Friday - if the trains are behaving .
