Thread 8 - the one with all the pillow talk

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

It's nearly time! November is tomorrow and Mariah Carey will be officially announcing the start of festivities Grin . Hope you're all well and just wanted to give you all a massive thank you so sharing these wonderful ideas and codes etc. It helps me SO MUCH. I know I don't post much on here (various things going on) but I appreciate this warm place of mn so much.

Hugo ‘just different’ aftershave is down to £21.60 at Superdrug.

I was wondering if anyone could dm me a bloom and wild referral please? I know we’re supposed to use the referrals thread but the page won’t load for me for some reason. I’ve been trying all afternoon.

Thanks all. First time to this thread and so far have bought candle lamps, EarPod cleaners, crab spoon holder and David Mitchell History book. All things I wouldn’t have thought of but I know will be appreciated and used.
I needed some new moisturiser and tried to find an offer on CLINIQUE. John Lewis have got 20% off and if you spend £60 or more a fab free gift. All products that I will use. So DH has now bought me that for Christmas🙌.
Those who are more savvy might know of better Black Friday deals but I was v happy with it.

Would you mind pointing me towards the earpod cleaners please? I must have missed that one, and a search isn't helping me.

I just got mine from eBay. Don’t think a previous poster had recommended a particular brand, just that they were a very useful stocking filler for her teens.

I previously shared that I got these for kids and nephews last year and they went down really well. £3.99 at the moment.

I've never known them to have any offer codes but sometimes offer free delivery. Not seen their free delivery offer yet this year.

F&M free delivery usually comes around soon for 'Black Friday' IIRC it's on for around a week.

@Jellybum2019Thanks for the penguin tip. DD’s been desperate for it for a while.

YouCanLetItGo · 02/11/2025 08:27

@BrightWolfif you DM me I can send one if you’re still in need 🎄

Thesoundofscience · 02/11/2025 09:00

DEICHMANN have £10 off if you download their app, plus free delivery this weekend. Not on TopCashback. I ordered a pair of adult lined crocs for £22.99. The code doesn’t seem to work on all pairs though.

Just to point out that the codes noted above for Laithwaites will probably stack with a referral code - I know the first time I ordered from them I used a referral and a deal like that and I got both.

so use a link to get £40 off £80 (get one from the referrals board), make sure you have 12 bottles in your basket then use the code above too.

you might also find you can get a good discount or cash back as noted above with your bank or Amex card. Stack up the offers!

Edited

I ordered 12 bottles using £40 off £80 first customer spend but it wouldnt accept the RESERVA12 code - however my bank app was offering 15% cashback so thank you for pointing me in that direction as I would never have checked!

MammaGnomes · 02/11/2025 10:20

I’ve just added my bloom and wild referral code to the referral thread. The mini Xmas trees are lovely and you can order now and select a delivery date for 1st December. Once you have signed up if you add 3 birthday reminders you receive a further £5 credit

SaltyCracker · 02/11/2025 10:42

Lego 3-in1 creator typewriter 48% off, so £12.99.

Cleanthecoffeemachine · 02/11/2025 11:09

Did everyone get their cashback from PayPal? Mine was showing as pending but I can't see it at all now (only one purchase).

IAmLadyWhistledown · 02/11/2025 11:22

Hello,

Apologies if this isn’t the correct place. Does anyone know if M&S might bring back their 2 sets of bale kids pjs for £16 please?
Ordered them last year in Sept so more than likely not doing the same deal again I assume. ☹️

@Cleanthecoffeemachine I got various emails once the money was in my paypal account. What was your purchase date? I think it was a little over a month from each transaction to the money being available in my paypal balance

Arregaithel · 02/11/2025 11:44

do you mean these @IAmLadyWhistledown ?

Hello,

Not quite. I’ve a feeling they won’t be doing them this year but they were individual wrapped with a bow pj sets and they stacked really well with the 20% off nightwear I have on Sparks rewards at the moment. 😁

I just placed an order and it wouldn't accept the RESERVA12 code for me either.
