This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

It's nearly time! November is tomorrow and Mariah Carey will be officially announcing the start of festivities Grin . Hope you're all well and just wanted to give you all a massive thank you so sharing these wonderful ideas and codes etc. It helps me SO MUCH. I know I don't post much on here (various things going on) but I appreciate this warm place of mn so much.

Managed to get a p Louise liquid cheek tint and Christmas cranberry hand cream by just paying £3 for shipping! Nice little stocking fillers ❤️

The cheek tint is reduced from £15 to £2 and the hand cream is free with any purchase. (Automatically gets added to basket).

I signed up for an account and clicked on some of the things to earn extra points on the loyalty page which gave me enough points to get the cheek tint for free!

Just thought I’d mention it incase it’s of use to anyone else 🥰

I’m hoping this is allowed and hoping it might work.. has anyone seen these in kids 9-10 years anywhere in North East, Durham, Sunderland, Hull Kingswood or Alnwick/Ashington way please? 🙏 Gutted I didn’t order when they had them available but they have been sold out for ages! Thank you in advance!!

Just checked using my postcode in the DL area of NE and says it’s not an instore item

My DD has mentioned a few times the Dyson air wrap. I think she knows it’s out of budget. But does anyone know about the shark flex style and whether that might be a suitable more affordable alternative? Or would a refurbished old style air wrap be better. She’s 15. Thanks

I have looked at Perfect Petz a few times over the years as my children are desperate for a pet so you could get one of those for when your real cat is not feeling like a stroke? There are dogs and cats and I think rabbits.

lots of sellers but here is one www.alzproducts.co.uk/?_gl=1x6v38b_upMQ.._gs*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAiAzrbIBhA3EiwAUBaUdbCPFD07OGDqLJpmCI7xNy44kxvgvFQBSWmqTmq3ur74F_FVA5ONKRoCsSMQAvD_BwE&gbraid=0AAAAADrNgKJC428jcMfrKrHhRHCC5arWI

À couple of years ago we got the guinea pigs made from alpaca - honestly the softest thing ever! I’ll see if I can find a link or picture.

OMG - I now want one of these but have no one to buy one for. Just wondering if the cat would like a furry friend for Christmas 🤔

I'm hoping for some help. Ds7 wants something he can cuddle and stroke when the cat doesn't want a cuddle. I guess I'm hoping for something as soft as real cat fur? Without costing an absolute fortune if possible. Thanks

These are new. I don’t know if they fit the bill
Casio cuddy

i watched the video and thought I want one let alone the kids

How much was it please? I've had a look in the flyer but can't see it 🙂

Funko have up to 70% off on their website funko.com you just have to register with them then sign up to their free rewards scheme to see it. I got a captain America funko pop for £3.90 that was on my list and some bitty pops reduced to 2.70 for stocking fillers.

Hi

thanks for the tip.

Can you please explain how you got it to a dopey me……I’ve tried with the account I have and have got loads of points but it only gives me 10% off, also tried making a new account and doing birthday / Facebook/ Insta etc but still can’t work out how to get a better discount than 20p.

thanks - any help gratefully received!

Morning lovely, ok so if you go onto royalty is loyalty it will show you how many points you have there and there will be options underneath to earn points if you haven’t done these already…

When you have your basket ready go to checkout and at checkout it should have a bit saying order summary underneath the shipping options. There will be a bit next to order summary that says show and if you click on that it should come up with how much points you have with a redeem button next to it.

You can’t use points and a discount voucher though. For me my points worked out as more savings than using the 15% off I had.

Hope this helps and it works for you 🥰

Has anyone managed to get the brand alley code extra20 to work please?

They've just sent it again at midnight so I think its still on. When I used it last time it didn't take money off everything, the more expensive labels/products I had in my basket tended to be excluded but the crew, joules etc stuff they always seem to have was included.

Fuckingfuckssake · 07/11/2025 21:48

Anyone here with an active YHA membership that could send me a discount code for a railcard pretty please? 🙏

Sorry, can’t help with that, but Martin Lewis had some info on getting Railcard discounts in his newsletter this week, which might be of help?

Autumnwave · 08/11/2025 09:53

@Fuckingfuckssake you can buy railcards using Tesco clubcard points. Also TopCashback give cash back.

At the risk of outing myself, because I told anyone who would listen about this great deal, I got the Dyson from boots a while ago, I was able to stack codes so they had £100 off then I think there was also a discount code, I had student discount and then I was able to add a voucher for high level of points which worked at about £60 in points back. So all in all taking the points into consideration it was about £200 cheaper.
might still be out of budget but just worth checking, I’ve noticed it changes every few days, but the deals normally come back around again.
