I'm taking a punt here that we won't need another thread before Christmas, but feel free to prove me wrong!

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Btw: Thanks to those who suggested handing back the Veg Wellington Beast to Waitrose. DH did the C&C today and just said it wasn’t suitable, (which it wasn’t as it turned out, as it ‘may contain nuts’ 🙀). It was taken off our order straight away .

Refund is now en route and presumably someone at my local Waitrose is now being made very happy by the unexpected discovery of a special order VWB on the shelf!

Does anyone know if the supermarkets are still doing their 25% off 6 bottles. I've held off buying too soon so I don't drink it all then have to rebuy so now looking for bargains on Prosecco/wine

My Waitrose had money off 6 bottles this morning, not sure how much though.

For those of you waiting for your Converse trainers, I fear you may not get them. When I clicked on the link my virus software went into overdrive and told me it was a fake site.

I sincerely hope this is not the case.

My converse, are at my local depot and should arrive tomorrow. We'll see!!!

Thank you all so much, this is my 2nd year on the threads with a different user name. My Flying Flowers have just arrived and they’re gorgeous! Went for the more expensive red ones and they’re perfect for Christmas, thank you! I’ve had a few bargains this year from this and the prequel threads and I too love the camaraderie and fact that everyone helps everyone out where they can. I love the fact my friends and family get more than they would if I didn’t have you wonderful people posting such fab bargains! Noooooooo!!!!!! I've had a genuine email to say enroute. They're for me, so not bothered if arrive late, but we'll all be pretty upset on here if it's a dodgy site. hugsandpugs has been so amazing on these threads that I can't imagine she forwarded a fake site in error.

I popped them into my basket and then went through TopCashback for the Converse, so definitely not fake based on the link I followed as my Cashback tracked pretty much straight away. Xx

Same as @Clucket87 My converse topcashback has tracked so it seems unlikely that it's fake. Mine is parcel force and en route so I'm remaining hopeful

My converse is showing as with Evri and being delivered tomorrow so fingers crossed!

Just popping on to say a massive festive greetings to you all. Would love to hear how all of the gifts go down on Christmas Day and hope they're loved by the recipients as much as I loved finding bargains and being on this thread. I'm sorry I'm not as present as I once was with the chat but I am so grateful so everyone for sharing every code, link and bargain that they find. Here's to all of you and hoping 2025 is the best.
