Posting on behalf of @reastie hope you don’t mind 🎄 🎅

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.
It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.
Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!
@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps
A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:
It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
No affiliate links
No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
Be nice or leave
If you have any voucher codes to share (or want to check for any) then have a look https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212144-sharing-voucher-codes
The current referral thread for sharing referral codes here . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.
To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk
Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)
So starhellostar would look like this.
hello
Obviously use the * not the word star
Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work
Stock informer is a handy site ^http://www.stockinformer.co.uk/default.aspx?fullsite=1^

If not already mentioned, my Asda rewards is offering £30 off a Switch console (Oled and standard) and also money off all kinds of xmas trees!

ChristmasJumperz · 06/12/2024 09:43

Forgot to add, Hobbycraft have a 12 day advent thing. Most crafty people probably already have the app but might be worth getting if not. Yesterday the door I opened just automatically entered me into a competition. Today I can apparently have a half price tie dye set.

On one of the previous threads, someone suggested heaters to put inside shoes to dry them.
There are, of course, loads on Amazon but was hoping someone had a recommendation please

I’ve got the snow pea ones from amazon. I am really reluctant to buy electronics that aren’t a known manufacturer, these were on this morning with (also does safety stuff!) Alice beer so I risked them. Seem good so far. They heat rather than have a fan

imnottoofussed · 06/12/2024 09:50

@Justonedayatatime11 they have them online at mgb watches if that's the right ones? I'd be surprised if you can get someone to buy a £350 watch and post it to you.

Mgb has good trustpilot so seem legit

A poster before recommended BooHoo Man, they have a clearance sale and a discount code

Thank you all for the jumper suggestions! I'll check them all out now.

Does anyone happen to know what the codes were? I'd probably order more bits too.

BourbonsAreOverated · 06/12/2024 09:54

wise people of the Christmas threads.
I need some nice toiletries for teen ds, he has sensitive skin so I want a nice decent product. I don’t mind spending a bit as it will be part of the present. I looked at loctaine yesterday but it didn’t feel special enough (although the price tag was!). He’s obsessed with nice smells (which I appreciate is at odds with sensitive skin!) so as a rare treat instead of the sanex stuff he normally uses.

I'm still looking for a bargainous Christmas jumper for DS3. He's 12 almost 13, but he'd need age 15-16 or a small men's (he's slim.but 5ft 8). He has additional needs, so something fun would be great/ gamer related for bonus points.

I've been in bed (ruddy chest infection) so online, or RL shop suggestions that I could just pop in & out to over the next week, can't face my usual trawling.

Thanks

Not looked myself but someone suggested boohooman the other day and there was a code XMAS15
It gave 15% off. Sorry I can’t quite who suggested it as I just made a note of the code.

Sorry. I replied and then went back to your post and read onwards. I see others have suggested boohooman too. Hope you’ve seen my post with the code. XMAS15

Simply Be have 30% off everything with FSTVE I was surprised that it's not just for larger sizes- it's not!

I got one pair of the Gazelles I've been after for £38.50 instead of £95 from Adidas (found them for £85 elsewhere, though). They were reduced, then with the 30% I'm SOOO chuffed. A bit nervous as reviews say they come up a half size small, & couldn't get half sizes. Crossing my fingers. If it works ill be one seriously happy woman!

Of course, I added lots of other stuff to my order!!! But I'm in bed with a chest infection, so I'm allowed as it's all for me 😅

The other colour is OOS everywhere, so hope for RL shopping with DS student discount.

My Valentte order arrived. I love their stuff so much- beautiful packaging, gorgeous scents & last a long time. Great gifts. They have offers on every day. They really are worth it.

Thank you so much. I really wanted the (kids) burgundy bold adidas but all sold out everywhere. I'd never have thought to look here for shoes but reduced already then 20% off AND it let me collect them for free from the post office. For £35 I will happily wear grey instead 😆Thank you!!

I would take a look at The Ordinary and Inkey List. My sensitive teen girls have got on well with their products.

Not sure if they are scented but they are nice, grown up looking products and are quite reasonable in price.

juicyjellybaby · 06/12/2024 10:07

sorry if it has already been posted as I haven’t caught up yet but Claire’s have 30 percent off all soft toys and the code FAB30 takes a further 30 percent off and stacks with buy 3 get 3 free

Iggi999 · 06/12/2024 10:10

Happy with my Deans order which came yesterday. Definitely keeping some for myself!

Brilliant! So chuffed for you. It's the Bold I have been searching for too. Jealous that you can fit the kids' sizes.

I'm laughing, as I really want the blue & silver/ blue & pink (and plan RL shopping still as OOS everywhere online) but ordered the grey with blue (as well as the black & white which were on my original list) as, like you, for £35 I'll wear grey! We'll be matching 🤣.

I'm now crossing my fingers they fit me!

ChristmasJumperz · 06/12/2024 10:21

Haha love that you got two pairs! I was debating dashing in for RL shopping the kids section but too lazy. Fingers crossed perfect fits all round!

ChristmasJumperz · 06/12/2024 10:25

Ikea are doing advent calendar also, today is 30% off bakeware.. https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/campaigns/christmas/

I'd be very interested to know if companies actually convert many sales with these random 24 hour discounts

Thank you. I will have a look. One of his friends uses the ordinary, but I didn’t put the two and two together.

mumtotwo11 · 06/12/2024 10:35

I don't suppose there are any Dunelm discounts kicking around? ive had a quick google but haven't found any x

MagicalFudgePops · 06/12/2024 10:38

Hi, would anyone know a discount code for Nike please? My son is after a football shirt and I’m too late to order from Soccer04 that people recommended 😭

Has anyone seen snow spray in the shops? It's so pricey on Amazon.
