Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.
It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. Grumpy with some companies today - used a £10 code for Abel&Cole and although they confirmed it on my receipt, they've taken the full amount (not minus the £10) from my bank

And Snackverse who delivered a box looking like an elephant sat on it which had broken a can inside so the cardboard is soggy and ripping and everything else is sticky. No way I can give it as a gift.
They also ignore you when you contact them so not holding much hope for resolution there....

Oh that’s not good @EvilHerbivore - I am on a mission to challenge bad CS wherever I experience it, and not being able to get hold of anyone is so frustrating. Have you contacted A&C?

I'm struggling for ideas for stocking fillers for teenage girls who do not like make up or skin care or hair accessories! I've got loads or art stuff. Struggling!

I was looking on Shein recently and ordered stocking fillers for various family members, there’s so much random stuff on there that you wouldn’t necessarily think to get but once you see it think “oh that’s good”

I made a new email address and got £10 off a £60 spend at Argos by signing up and used that.

I am half wrapped, already twitching. Going to go and get my dads present today and then I’m almost done, justo a few stocking fillers to get.

I’m sure I will twitch a few times in the next 2 weeks.

I have also used Shein for stocking fillers for my teen girls but one of my parcels seems to be taking for ages (postage is a bit slow), they have some great bits including fake Jellycat, pin badges, key rings, novelty socks, stationary and fidget toys.

I have started wrapping!

My understanding is the Prosecco comes with the 2nd order.

I've had the full amount taken too. I was already in contact with them about needing our postcode adding to their system, so I've continued the conversation on TwiX messaging to ask what's gone on.

The bloody Prosecco had better be in the order!
