Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

Probably a put away for next year if you are feeling organised, but a 24 day advent jigsaw reduced to £3.99 Here there are others reduced too if you fancied one , but I think this was the cheapest .

The absolute opposite of bargains ... ... but if you order direct from Dior at the mo you can have complimentary engraving on items which is so lovely.

Plus the usual free next day delivery and a choice of x 2 samples at checkout and beautiful packaging.

Annoyed at Amazon packaging again today. They put a Nerf gun I ordered in a box as I marked it as a gift, but they've stuck a massive white label on the actual item within the box for some reason! If it was a small label on the back I wouldn't be so annoyed at least but this is a proper packaging label across the word Nerf 🙄

when you get to check out on Amazon, they do actually highlight if item will come in the manufacturers packaging usually plastered with sticky delivery labels 🙈 (nothing to do with choosing the gift option though)

They then, further down, give the option to have the item delivered in an Amazon box.

Thank you, yes I had ticked the relevant box which is what has annoyed me. They've put it inside a box but put the delivery label on the actual item inside anyway. I had the same issue with another gift last year.

I also actually specified that I wanted it to come tomorrow because I knew I was in all day but they've delivered it separately to the rest of my scheduled order so hoping it was just an oversight. Will be trying to get it off with the hairdryer shortly but I think the residue will be too much.
