Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Anyone know if Cyber Monday is a thing any more on Amazon? In the past, I can remember some build up to it, but this year it just seems to have been rolled into Black Friday week. Stalking a couple of electrical items.

My purchase at Superdrug from last night hasn’t tracked on TCB. No tracking email 8 hours later. I clicked through properly etc.
I will be returning my purchase as I can get the perfume cheaper elsewhere before the Cashback.

Non-tracking stuff is a pain. It's always hit and miss when you put a claim in as well.

This may have already been mentioned but I haven't had time to read through the whole thread but it's such a good offer that I wouldn't people to miss it.

I won't use my John Lewis free chocolates code so please shout if anyone would like mine. The code only lasts for 3 hours once activated so best to shout when you're actually out shopping so it doesn't expire before you get there.

@Cupofteaandbiscuits has your DD read the Olga da Polga books by Michael Bond? If not, they are lovely stories about a feisty Guinea Pig and her adventures. I read them as a child and both my DC loved them too.

No M&S advent but pretty good discounts on Sparks card so I think they’re trying to make up for it.

Also got free chocolate on JL but unfortunately it’s a drive away - wish I could get it from my Waitrose as it’s really close.
