Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. Dear festive people, I ordered from soccer04 on the 18th November which was probably on the late side....but I haven't heard anything except my confirmation email. I tried to reply to that and it's a string of numbers so not sure it's a real email address. Does anyone have a contact for them or should I just hold my nerve?

Also any ideas if there is a way to get custom converse any cheaper? They have been lovingly picked and customised and are in my basket....but £85!!!

I'm the person who sews of the family but I'm not going to be able to get one of them done in the little time I have before Christmas. However, I may show here as a project we could do together over the break! She never asks for anything, she didn't take up her place at Uni in Sept (anxiety issues), and I'm really struggling to think of some gifts that will mean something to her this year. I think she might like the activity side!

But DONT FORGET TO CANCEL! Or you will be billed full price ya end of six months for a rolling subscription ... I wait until I've safely had the first one and the gift and then email them on address they provide in her confirmation, to ensure it's cancelled after trial period.

I totally justify this occasionally on the basis so many flyers end up on the floor and getting binned anyway!

I need help!! I don't know what to get my 6yr old daughter as her main present for Christmas. She first asked for a princess carriage electric ride on but that fell through and she's changed her mind. I don't know what to get her 😱 she likes the idea of the bumper cars but I worry it won't really get played with past Christmas Day. She loves arts and crafts and princesses and babies.
