Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Re the Jellycats from Bigwicks (and anywhere else other than Jellycat), Bigwicks customer service replied to me to confirm that none of their Jellycats come with the dustbags. They said it's really frustrating as Jellycat won't even let them buy them. So, the only way you can get them in the dustbags is through the official site.

Also highly recommend Staysure. One of our adult DC had to cancel his place on our family holiday as he had Covid and they paid up fast no questions asked.

Please can anyone help? My DD has decided she would like a cashmere sweater, slight turtleneck in either cobalt or cornflower blue ! I need a 12/14 or M/L.....she wants it oversized. Any ideas??

Thanks - they already have oodie things - it was more any suggestions for something along those lines but not that eg perhaps fluffy slippers or something else?

The bags are often sold on Vinted (I’m not a Vinted representative, honestly! My last post was also promoting Vinted 😁).

Deans stated that the hampers would be delivered later, from the 1st December until the 23rd December and if you need it earlier to contact them

Quick question for anyone who got one of the Bloom and Wild little trees - was the box like the flower box? My recipient has had this delivered and it doesn't look like a little tree... 🤔

@colderandeatsmincepiesalot I would investigate pure collection: they’re more expensive but better quality and have 25% off at the moment, I think.

@PlanBea The website descriptions of both trees says it goes through the door so yes would say that's the box. There is a video of the box in the jingle bell tree description
