Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

@YeahWellWhyNot their skincare is fab. The Holy Hydration range in particular is highly recommended. I originally found out about it via Caroline Hirons fb group and have re-bought the sleeping mask, cleansing balm and face cream a few times.

I didn’t get the £5 voucher for signing up to elf emails , and the birthday voucher didn’t show , left it a few hours . Sent them a quick email to ask if the birthday one would come today , and it’s now been added to my account twice , so looks like I have 2 x lip oil and 2 x free lip glosses delivered for £6 . Although keep an eye on checkout , the first one through PayPal didn’t complete , and the second time tried to charge the wrong amount , third time lucky !

Thanks to all! I managed to get 2 setting sprays, 2 lip oils, 2 lip balms and a birthday lipgloss, all for £20! Excellent selection for Christmas gifting.
I cheated and did it under 2 email addresses, I still have a free birthday gift under one account because I had already checked out before it appeared. I didn’t get the extra subscription deal and only used my Bluelight discount on one order, so I think that although I was sneaky, it balanced out for them a bit as well

Ethique are having a closing down sale and everything on their site is 60% off. You need to add to the basket to see the discount. Things seem to be selling fast but there are still some things left. I've used their products before and really rate them, especially the deodorants and face bars, so I've stocked up for myself but there might be some good stocking fillers on there

Thanks for this. I’ve been meaning to try solid conditioner and moisturiser for ages. I just placed an order for just under £20. I was trying to get to the £30 for free delivery, when I realised it’s £20 for members free delivery. However after signing up it gave free delivery on my £19.20 order. Not sure if that might also be the same on smaller amounts.

(note to self: I do NOT need any more toiletries or skincare!)

I am such a 🐑 Just done an ELF order as I wanted to try some liquid eyeshadows that wouldn’t break the bank.

PayPal wouldn’t work at first, (so I hope there wasn’t a problem), but it went through the second time.

In my 🐑 defence, at least I have restrained myself from jumping on the Ethique bargain, (shame they are closing down btw!)

Mine took a while to come through. I then went on my account profile and noticed it hadn’t stored my DOB, which is good because I’d put my actual one in when I registered 😅 So I went and changed it and it saved. I kept refreshing the page and nothing, then around an hour later it appeared as available in my rewards - it will come through, just takes a while

@IlovePond I think at this rate you and I will be able to open our own beauty store! I can’t see us making much of a profit though, we seem to be like magpies 😅
