A bit stuck for DH so looking to see if I can copy someone else’s ideas!

Can you link the self-heating coffee mug? This sounds good as DH always makes a cup then wanders off!!!

Delonghi Specialista coffee machine, Air Jordan trainers, desk hand warmer, huge Lego set from the babies, gold sized countertop ice maker for parties, cocktail bar set, ice bucket, case of different bourbons, tumblers. Think that’s it.

Stocking has tonnes of bits including magnetic chess game, computer cleaning gel, screen cleaner, sunglasses holders for the cars, White Company car diffusers, lock picking set, chocolate orange (natch), fragrance, shower gels, socks etc.

I never know what to buy! This year I'm having a painting done for him by a local artist, of his favourite area / view in our city

A book he asked for
A woodburner fan
A wood splitter to make the logs smaller

I am on a waiting list for a model train locomotive but I don't have high hopes.

@ollypollymolly thank you. I've read mixed things about them on here, some saying they don't make the drinks hot enough.
Can I ask which one you have and what chocolate you use? I was looking at Hotel Chocolat but apparently you can only use their chocolate with it and cheaper ones are the same?
He's not an adventurous type with flavours and doesn't like dark chocolate.

@yarnwitch we have the velvetiser and just get the HC choc so it is expensive but it makes lovely lovely hot choc.

re temp - I read an excellent tip on here that if you boil the kettle at same time as making choc then put hot water in the cups first it makes them much hotter. Now we do that it is perfect.

I am sure you could use other choc to be honest.

Pizza oven this year - he really wanted one in the summer and we couldn’t afford it, so I should think pizza for dinner on Boxing Day !

I did want to get Tenacious D tickets but they’re almost sold out. I’m also considering a wood carving kit as he really enjoys hands on type stuff.

His stocking will just have boxers, socks (I’ve got a pair with photos of our dog on them 😂 ), scratchcard, a light up beanie hat, some toiletry stuff, Lego mini, Google play gift card (for Pokémon go and cod mobile) and maybe a few car accessories.

I read this all thinking I'll never get any inspiration for my DH but there it is... a log splitter! Perfect!

I'm sure I read on here that using non HC chocolate invalidates the warranty, but I could be wrong. I'm going to have a look at them, and that's a good tip about the hot water!

Mine does do gaming but at a low level and will buy his own stuff.

He likes obscure cinema but this was comprehensively covered on his birthday with a BFI subscription.

I think last year I gave up and bought socks.

Of course the other tactic is to buy something you want and claim it is a present for both of you.
