a Peter James Roy Grace novel
the box of 8 of these Solar Lights that I got today in the garden centre reduced from £40 to a fiver !

Trainers, Amazon fire tablet for downloading Netflix etc for break at work (he's been borrowing the kids!), bottle of dead man's fingers, wireless phone charger, new fancy beard trimmer as his is packing in, new ray bans as his are scratched, box of protein bars (work snacks)

Also an hgv driver so may consider the mini fridge for in the cab 🤔

This sounds a lot but split between his birthday (just before Christmas) and Christmas it's not too much. Will get some treats like his favourite chocolate/crisps etc from the kids and to fill his stocking. He needs socks too and I usually get him some craft ales. Lidl had a nice set the other day but he was with me so I will nip back for that at some point.

Bought mine a rugby shirt and Lindor chocolates.

Handkerchiefs, socks and T-shirt for DDs to give him. They’ll buy Toblerone and Fruit & Nut chocolate. Both are skint - Uni- so I’ve bought everything apart from the 🍫

Mines a triathlete so he’s getting a desk/stand thingy to put his phone and drinks on when on his bike turbo, flavoured peanut butters for energy and a sweatshirt from Spoke and Solace.

The kids have got him new hair clippers as he refuses to pay for haircuts!

@lucysmam I’ve got some Turkish delight hot choc in my cupboard that I got in Whittards.

I'm debating a velvetiser, he likes hot chocolate but I don't think honestly he will really want one.
It's a clutching at straws idea for an absolutely impossible person. He wouldn't like any of the ideas on this thread, I'm totally stumped.

@yarnwitch I got the family a velvetiser last year and it is been great. DH does all the cooking so part of the deal is that I always make the hot chocolate. And buy the sachets. Could be a ‘house’ present
