I bought DH the bean to cup coffee machine and now need some beans to go with? I was thinking of maybe like a selection box kind of thing so that we can try a few and see what we like? I've no idea how much we'll need or use? Over the Xmas period we will probably drink around 3/4 cups each a day. I tend to not drink coffee during the week but he will have a few cups whilst working from home.

Does a selection box type thing exist? How much do you think we might need?

Thank you for all the tips for 10y boy gifts on the end of the last thread, the comics are a great idea, I've ordered some how to draw books and pencils to go with.

His sister are obsessed with squishmellows so he isn't interested. I like the idea of using bigger gift box which I might do for his main gift.

@MammaGnomes we tried Monsoon estatelast year. 4 coffees for £25 and it lasted a month or so of hard drinking or longer if you don't have it constantly 🤣

I've also got my eye on an extract coffee roasters but it's more expensive and not sure it's worth it. I've been ruined by single origin coffee fresh from the estate on holiday and you can't replicate that.

@redjoker can I ask if you were able to use any other codes along with your referral discount with laithwaites? I’m having the same issue as you - I can’t get any of my referral discounts to work and I wondered if it is because I’ve used another code to reduce the value of the case of wine I’m buying. I’ve come to the conclusion the referral discounts aren’t worth anything if I can’t use them alongside their other offers!

No, I could only use that code (well i couldn't use it at all but they got it working, no idea how!) Kept saying for me that id already used it and it was invalid

@MammaGnomes - one bag does about 15-20 cups (but I like a big cup of coffee). My husband also reminded me we had a Scott&co. Selection bag of beans last year - bought from Amazon- the individual bags were smaller but enough for a few cups from each.
