Was holding off on stocking fillers as was hoping some small Xmas plush would be replenished but not sure how long to wait. Has anyone seen any cheap small Xmas plush anywhere? Just wanted to pop on the top of their stockings.

Sainsburys have a cute little sprout and a reindeer plush? Think they're £3.75 each and there's a donation to charity for each one sold.

Hype code FAST50 for 50% off including sale items. For first 50 orders only but it worked for me a couple of minutes ago. Got 2 tshirts, a tshirt and leggings set, a tshirt and shorts set and a pencil case for £20 delivered!

Has anyone seen any deals on dinner plates? Ours are chipped and awful so we are buying them as a present to ourselves as we have my parents for Christmas this year. Money is very tight, which is why we are treating this as our present so as cheap as possible. Any recommendations? Thank you x

Asda had some nice dinner plates the other day. You can buy individual ones plus they had dinner sets.

NWnature · 29/11/2023 18:42

TK Maxx often have Denby plates and sets- they are fantastic quality. I also love the Sophie Conran style - white porcelain ripple look- I’ve got them discounted from John Lewis and Ocado in the past.

Thank you, works on lucky dip for so £18 for two mystery backpacks delivered.

winewolfhowls · 29/11/2023 18:58

An employee in the works told me next week will be 20% off if you spend £20, which would bring many of their games to lower than Amazon. I'm holding out for Herd Mentality which is currently £20

We got a nice star patterened one from Asda Groceries. There's this one and this one . There are also extra pasta plates, cups etc. Worth a look?

Blessedbethefruitz · 29/11/2023 19:04

@Igglepiggleandhisboat I also rate asda for plates! We have bees from a couple of years ago when I suggested to dp that grown ups shouldn't have mismatched uni plates...

WimbyAce · 29/11/2023 19:14

Thanks for all the Turkish Delight advice. Its tricky as I'm trying to avoid a special trip, no B&M, Aldi, Home Bargains etc near me but it looks like Lakeland might work.

SweetPeaPods · 29/11/2023 19:18

So frustrated I've missed out on some Black Friday bargains. Really need to get my A into G.

Sorry on the scrounge for more ideas.

Anything to add to a family gift hamper thing. So far got board game, bottle for the adults, naked marshmallow set.

Also, anything for girls age 13 and 15 around the £10 mark. 15 year old is very much a tomboy.

Thanks going to Sains Fri probably so will have a look 👍🏻

Lastminutebride · 29/11/2023 19:22

To the poster from the previous thread looking for ideas to bulk out the 10 year olds presents, my tween loves crisps so got a hamper box and filled it with share bags of various crisps she lives. Was cheap but large and she loved it

noodledoodler · 29/11/2023 19:26

I am having to wait patiently for my glossyboxes, they are heading to NI with EVRI 😔

ThisHouseWillBeTheDeathOfMe · 29/11/2023 19:32

Hamper: Nice cordial, Xmas napkins, spiced candle, hot chocolate bombs, individual chocolate bars, reindeer food, snowball kit (we got some last year from the company that do Gelli-bath).

13 &15 year old girls, you can't go wrong with a well chosen book- perhaps non-fiction if you don't know their likes in fiction. Or a £10 book card- I have always loved getting a book card.

@SweetPeaPods
Bananagrams is £8 at both Amazon and Waterstones. Great game that can be played several ways, on their own or with others, and more than fine for their age.

• Extra long phone charger cable. I saw B&M selling the Juice XXL ones, which come in cool colours, but you can also find them in TKMaxx, or on eBay.
• Small bottle of fragrance from Zara - slightly more 'special' than body spray and you can find one that isn't overtly sweet and girly.
• Huge blanket scarf (Primark) - supposedly one of the Gen Z winter trends, to be worn draped over v oversized puffas.

Sounds good. I’m excited after my Glossybox haul today, I need to see what I’m missing 😁

Did you all pay £4.99 delivery? It’s the cost of a whole box!

Thank you so very much 😘The kindness (and speed to which you replied) is very much appreciated. Makes a big difference 🙂

Someaddedsugar · 29/11/2023 20:20

@WimbyAce these are the Sainsburys ones. I didn't see the other two but have a sprout and a deer hidden in the loft and they're very cute.

Sorry a question - has anyone found the physical Fortnite v bucks gift cards anywhere? I can see them on game online but was really looking for the 15.99 one ( no smyths near me I know they do them in there)?

They are different to the sprout and other one which are comic relief ones. I bought these four as they are super cute and got reduced (and DD loves them as they are 'slow rise' sort of like those foam cakes and stuff that were all the craze a couple of years ago) I wasn't too taken with the sprouty comic relief ones.

Has anyone seen Super Smash Brothers on Switch for less than £47.99 pretty please! It feels a painful amount to spend on one game!

Keep checking vinted. I had alerts set up and eventually got Mario party for £17 posted. Just takes daily checking!
