Thread 13 - the one with the loot from Black Friday | Mumsnet

13 - unlucky for some. Let's hope it's very lucky for us! I bought a couple of things in the Black Friday sales - an amazon stick (I'm pretty sure we...

Thanks @OnionBag got sharing. I’ll start looking at the cost of the burners.

Noneedtobemean · 04/12/2023 11:03

I've just ordered from the BYOMA website for my tween DD. They automatically apply 25% off if you order 4 products and free delivery over £20. It worked out cheaper than the same products from Boots.

Aware there is a new thread but scouts site discount of the day is 50% off a list of warm kit, code is SNOW. All branded so best for actual scouts.

CanIPutTheTreeUpYet · 04/12/2023 11:38

@doctorboo the scout store site sells the burners for £5, I've just been having a look there. Not sure about delivery costs though.

doctorboo · 04/12/2023 11:59

@CanIPutTheTreeUpYet I did see those but initially discounted them as p&p is £3.99, only free over £50 and my ‘goodwill’ discount is 20%.

After a gallbladder flare up that spoilt my birthday and weekend I’m feeling miffed at even the thought of having to spend anything extra towards the p&p.

I don’t think I created an account 1st time round, going to see if I can do that and get the 10% off (banner at the bottom of the Scout page).

Can't remember who asked about stocking hangers but saw these in Primark £7. There was also some gingerbread house ones

Costco do them, can’t remember how much, but they are not horrifically expensive.
there are a enough of them in the pack to keep your Christmas lunch warm too Grin

Know its already been mentioned but lidl have 50% off everything in the middle aisles starting today. They have heated throws, weighted blankets, tons of branded toys, kids Christmas pjs at £2.50 a pair, loads of really good bargains

Do you know how long this goes on for? Or is it today only?

It's on til the 8th but I imagine it'll be very busy so things will sell out fast

Can't edit but my darling son has changed his mind about his present and wants a Nike tech fleece tracksuit 😳 and it's SO expensive

Could you join as a member with a birthdate on Dec - they usually give you 25% off one item in your birthday month

Dee1224 · 04/12/2023 16:13

I popped into Lidl at about 2.30 today and the middle aisle was like something out of the zombie apocalypse- just heaving with people swaying in front of items in a kind of 50% off trance! Sadly no heated throws in evidence, but they did have some wooden play sets and lots of HP slippers for a bargain £3.

I didn’t see anything I was looking for, but claimed my rather nice free cotton bag for signing up to the app instead - result!

poignant · 04/12/2023 16:19

I went to Lidl this morning 8:30 and the shop was empty. I wasn't looking for anything special and did only buy some milk and vegetables.

slithytoveisascientist · 04/12/2023 16:43

Thank you I’ve just tried this, fingers crossed x

slithytoveisascientist · 04/12/2023 17:21

That was meant to quote @BeaLola

TheresNoTelescreen · 04/12/2023 17:37

I've had a cancellation email for the love hearts, they have said regrettably they are out of stock.

RepetitiveMotion · 04/12/2023 17:39

Swizzels order not met so refunded but Fossil order shipped!

Someaddedsugar · 04/12/2023 17:40

Another cancellation here.

Not the cheapest but The Chocolate Gift Co have some good offers where if you spend a certain amount you get a free gift or free shipping. Their products are beautiful too.

Lastminutebride · 04/12/2023 18:13

Anyone point me in the right direction to get Mario kart for the switch please? It looks to be £40 in multiple shops but I can’t seem to find a discount for any stores that sell it.
think I might just have to pay full price mightn’t I.
