White Stuff socks 🐑

Has anyone else not received a dispatch email from white stuff for the socks? Ordered at around 6 yesterday but no dispatch yet

I'm thinking of starting the 12 day socks advent on 13 December. We already have a couple of other advent calendars (between myself and DD) so the sock one will be an extra surprise mid month.

Any recommendations for size 8 socks? Lately the socks I’ve always bought are getting holes quickly, when they never used to get any at all. Quality must have been been reduced. I’m tempted to try mens but I don’t really want them that long.

Personally I’d start it at the beginning of December to get more wear from them, with them being Christmas socks.

@sellote, I get them from Bamboo. Men's and women's. I've not had toe issues with either!

Anyone had any further updates? I thought they would be dispatching but no sign here yet.

The heels do go in these. But only after years of use

I picked mine up from store yesterday no problem, although I missed the advents. Some of their stuff is so nice I ended up going back round to buy more!

I didn’t get the email about the mistake but I got four separate dispatch emails. I placed two orders - one female and one male advent calendar each with a pair of £15 socks. I’ve had an email for each individual item, all sent to store. Just under £12 in total so if it all arrives I’ll be pleased.

I've not heard anything about dispatch yet for the advent calendar although I had the we"ll sock it up yesterday

I made two orders and had the email saying they would honour one... Just had the dispatch email and it's the men's one they've honoured, so DH will be happy, and I will be sockless 🙄😆

Woohoo first order was cancelled but second has been dispatched. Now to decide who between my two sock loving friends will get it.

Actually given how well they’ve handled the glitch I think I’ll buy the other full price.

All mine dispatched after getting we’ll sock it up emails yesterday. 2 orders, 2 different email addresses, men’s and women’s advent, 1 pair of wool socks and 1 pair of hedgehog socks. All for under £10. Going to spilt for Christmas presents 🎁

Having noted on my account that my 2 were cancelled , I’ve just had a dispatch email for the men’s. Again DH will be happy , may treat myself to the women’s with my blue light discount as they’ve honoured one order 😊. I buy quite a bit from them normally ( plain stuff) and looking in my wardrobe all their clothes actually wear really well and the quality is generally good .

I’m buying more from them as feel guilty. A 2.72 advent calendar and a pair of 45p socks have arrived and they’re such lovely quality/nice packaging. Has anyone looked inside the advent to see how the socks are packaged?

12 days calendars are for the 12 days of Christmas so you gift on Christmas day and open one on each of the 12 days of Christmas (takes you to twelfth night/epiphany) 😊🎅
My daughter had a 12 day one a few years ago.

While technically correct. the problem is that doesn’t really work for Xmas themed things (novelty socks or earrings etc with a Christmas theme). No one is still enjoying their Xmas socks on January 5th.

I’ll be giving them for Dec 1st.

I take your point, but only 4/12 of the women's socks have a Christmas theme (reindeer, Christmas puds, Christmas tree, Christmas stockings) and 3/12 of the men's (different trees, puds and stockings.) They will be past their Christmas-joy in January, I agree, and we don't know in what order they will be opened.

I hope the socks will be worn more than once, though.

My socks will be wrapped as pairs , put in a lucky dip tombola and the dc's will just have pot luck choosing their own socks on Christmas day 🤣🤣

I will save a big box that something has come in and wrap it up.

They are adults now ,so don't have big presents under the tree...so a big box waiting for them Christmas morning just adds to the silliness of still pretending Father Christmas has been 🤣🤣!
