Curious to see how many presents people have under their tree.
I have two dcs and never think it looks enough, I just love to see their little faces light up in the morning.

This isn't a judgy thread I'm just genuinely curious.
Here's mine ours its just presents for 2 dc. Me and dp exchanged today.

All the pretty colour coordinated gift wrapping! Ours is a mix of odds and sods from previous years and gift bags reused so many times they’re barely in one piece…

A photo with presents strewn across half the room because they won't physically fit around the tree... "Oh I never think it's enough". This is goady braggy bollocks.

So the people who have worked hard this year and managed to saved for Christmas can’t share their trees and present set-ups on a anon site ?

My bits are 2nd hand the only new thing is a present my friend has brought me. I’m sorry if my 2nd hand books upset people but to me they are priceless I will not apologise for them, I’ve waited years for this tomorrow it happens I’ve got my books back. I’ve had enough crap this year.

I like having a nose. Mumsnet would have thought our kids piles of presents when they were little were too much. They’re older now and appreciate cash and only a few presents. We don’t put them out til the morning though as the dogs would eat them. 😅

And the people who have also worked hard this year, yet have been crippled by the cost of living, rising inflation and other economic challenges, can share their distaste on an anon site!

No one should have to spend their life tip-toeing around others, especially strangers, because it might perchance make some else sad. We don’t restrain from showing photos of healthy people when others are dying of cancer, or babies when others are facing fertility issues. If people want to share photos of what they’ve got (which was quite clearly the intention of the thread) then they can get on with it. Just scroll on by 👍🏻
Everyone is too damn sensitive and offended nowadays.. too much bloody time on their hands.

Does anyone have pictures of kids stockings? We don’t do them here and I always thought presents were put inside them small ones you hang on a fireplace but now I’m starting to think stockings might be more sack like?

We need ages of kids too on this thread! mine are 10 and under and still a bloody wake!

It looks a lot but lots of small things there like stationary, books, useful things rather than a sea of plastic tut. I'm so excited for them.

@GingerFoxInAT0phat we use long socks. only have a yoyo and some sweets, orange and apple and a penny for their boxes.

@iceyniceyspicey That makes sense, I just wrapped a yo-yo that I’d forgotten about, was putting an Amazon box in the recycling bin and heard something ratting around.

I always wonder how people can find lots of tiny presents to fit in a little stocking.
