Christmas Day breakfast

Hi , what do you all have for breakfast on Christmas morning ? We usually have Christmas dinner around 2-2.30 so don’t usually have anything too heavy

Avocado toast and Bloody Marys - although I have got a Christmas tree brioche so may have that and some fizz!

jus-rol cinnamon rolls and blinis with cream cheese and smoked salmon, plus another fishy based pate. With Buck’s Fizz. All around 9am/10am while kids are opening presents and after several cups of tea

Honestly here you have a choice of croissants, bacon and eggs, full English, or just feasting on chocolate. Crisps and nuts and stuff is snacked on throughout the day and we have dinner around 3, maybe 4ish?

No strict timetable but we do like to ensure we're all uncomfortably full all day

We avoid meat at breakfast due to the amount of meat in the Christmas dinner, as we do a couple of roast meats and pigs in blankets.

So it's typically croissants and fresh fruit with bucks fizz. Aldi extra special croissants are best I've found so I've bought them ahead and stuck them in freezer

Been on a Christmas breakfast hunting trip. Most successful, have crumpets, croissants and chocolate chip brioche rolls to keep strength up until the main event. I would also recommend Sainsburys Black Forest Gateau porridge for something a bit different. Tried this morning and is very pleasant and not too sweet

Usually ham and cheese croissant, fresh fruit - mangoes and berries are usually popular and fresh oj.
