Hi , what do you all have for breakfast on Christmas morning ? We usually have Christmas dinner around 2-2.30 so don’t usually have anything too heavy

It’s just me and my 10 year old here. So we never really do anything but some toast or cereal and save our selves for our lunch at 1pm!

However, I’ve seen online a recipie video for a Christmas tree twists so I’ve bought some ready rolled pastry to make one Christmas Eve. Il keep it in the fridge and put it in the oven Christmas morning 🙂

I have smoked salmon on toast. Saw some gin and lime infused smoked salmon in Aldi the other day and was intrigued enough to buy it so it'd better be nice, I'm not even a massive gin fan 🙄 😂
Might get some normal smoked salmon as well just in case it's rank 😁

Bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon with lemon, Buck's Fizz!

Last year I did a sweet French toast tray bake type thing, topped with berries and maple syrup, that can be prepped the night before and put in the over in the morning. Amazing, easy, and lasted us 3 mornings. Doing it again this year.

Lindt Santa and Terry's chocolate orange is traditional in our house! 🙄

dudsville · 20/12/2022 20:48

We're going healthy, good porridge with lots of wonderful fruit, homemade compote, so that we can have lunch at 1.

DelilahBucket · 20/12/2022 20:49

Bacon and mushroom butties and mimosas. Christmas dinner usually around 4:30 so other snacky bits available in between.

OnTheRunWithMannyMontana · 20/12/2022 20:49

Bacon sandwiches (just the Buck's Fizz for me, I can't eat before lunchtime).

Dinner about 4pm by which time I will have worked up a decent appetite!

bevelino · 20/12/2022 20:56

We will be having a light breakfast of cereal and fruit so that we can be nice and hungry for our Christmas dinner. That said, I have 4 dds with healthy appetites, who no doubt will be filling themselves with whatever food they can get their greedy little hands on.

StrawberryWater · 20/12/2022 21:02

Croissant or pain au chocolat for me. Ds will have the same.

Large fry up for oh.
