Yes, the order I cancelled 8 days before was then apparently 'dispatched' with a non-working tracking number. I just want my bloody refund!

In a weird twist of fate, the place I bought the replacement present from, dispatched two boxes instead of one, so my friend now has loads of cheese!

I've just had email from Honestly Eco saying parcel with Evri. I got a refund a fortnight ago so no idea how I'm supposed to pay for it now. Can I refuse the parcel? Will it be sent back if I do?

I’ve just created an account and it says “fulfilled on 2nd December”.

The RM tracking just says “Sorry, we're currently unable to confirm the status of your item with reference [XXX]. Please try again tomorrow.” It’s been saying that since it was dispatched though!

I imagine the cheese won’t be edible anymore if it ever does turn up!

Cheshire Cheese. It's 4 truckles of cheese, crackers and a small bottle of wine. It was about the same price as I paid for the two boxes from SG.

I’m currently shaking my fist at my local dpd driver. Just had a text and email saying they tried to deliver but no answer - utter nonsense - so now my poundshop order is going to a shop with zero parking outside and resident bays in the surrounding streets.

I know our current rental is a bit of a pain in the arse to park outside but it’s not impossible and the food shop and other courier services do it.

Mine was despatched 4th Dec. It arrived on Saturday so had spent about 12 days floating around. My tracking said the same. Thankfully, because the weather had been so cold, the cheese was fine.

Fingers crossed for yours.

My SG order had a tracking number that don't work but it arrived this week. Everything was still fine (thanks to the freezing weather no doubt) when I followed up (prior to delivery) SG said that RM weren't updating their tracking due to the strikes which is why the tracking number didn't work.
I hope everyone who is still waiting gets their deliveries eventually.

I don't bloody want mine. They've sent it when I cancelled 8 days before. We didn't even have a contract when they sent it.

Thank you a million times to the poster who shared the DAD20 code for Paddy And Scott coffee. The recipient opened it today and we were both SO impressed by the beautiful packaging. The coffees look great and she was just delighted with the gift.

I really feel for them. I’m still waiting for stuff but I’m happy to wait.

Well, they should probably have searched their inbox for emails mentioning 'cancel' before sending orders people no longer wanted.

I'm not prepared to fund their lack of ability to read an email / deal with a PayPal dispute before dispatching.

@NoWordForFluffy That tracking message is just because they haven't tried to deliver it. Royal Mail aren't updating tracking fully to show when picked up/dropped off. It only updates once delivered. It's annoying as it doesn't actually say that it's with them and I'm having issues with my eBay sales from people that just aren't willing to wait a few extra days.

Yes, but I don't bloody want it in the first place! Which makes it much more annoying than if I did. They're a total shower, IMO.

If it helps their fb page now has updated info. Saying that any SG order placed by the 16th December has been dispatched - but after that it's in the hands of Royal Mail, they are processing refunds where applicable and will respond to all emails properly after Christmas.
I couldn't figure out how to pose a screenshot here but I think that's the gist.

Can everyone stop being so harsh to SG? We’ve pretty much caused all their stress by using and sharing the code for free boxes (which we all know we shouldn’t have, right?). They’ve obviously been overwhelmed by the demand, so the harsh words are really unfair on them when we’ve caused it all.
