I was surprised this morning to refresh from 5.35am and get queue number 1086...... I was refreshing every 30 seconds. It would seem I was early in by chance.

Site very glitchy though and my poor sister is still in the queue even now.

I'm done. I panicked a bit as when I got to "0. It's your turn, start your shop" nothing happened. So I tentatively refreshed the page and got the log in page, which I feared would put me back to square 1. Fortunately it didn't, and I got a slot on the afternoon of 23rd, put a couple of items in and checked out no bother.
Good luck to those waiting. I'm going to try to get a couple of hours sleep now!

@ExhaustedFlamingo ah no I didn't get that, I just logged on having seen the date on the their website assuming it was for all delivery saver customers regardless of whether you're peak or off peak. 22 Nov is it I guess!

TheWomanTheyCallJayne, yes, do remember to put your order in. One year DH had booked an in between Christmas and New Year slot which he forgot about. His go to items for reserving the slot are three bottles of brandy. Guess what was delivered!

Just got in, only wanted the usual Tuesday slot (midweek saver) as have Waitrose booked for 23rd, slots were all available for 20th-22nd, Morning all gone for 23rd but plenty afternoon and evening slots, obviously this is just a snapshot as stores vary.

I got on at 5.50 with 155000 ahead of me.

Finally got to the front of the queue at 6.05. Took me a few stabs at the page to checkout, it's obviously creaking.

Sadly, I accidentally checked out with my current shop which was due to be delivered tomorrow. So I've lost that slot.

I managed to get another slot for tomorrow while I was still logged in.

You'll all be pleased to hear I've only put a carrot in my basket for tomorrows delivery, to save time. I hope I can get back in again later today to do my weekly shop otherwise that carrot will cost me £40+ delivery.

I wondered if I would get one as I am still on the old midweek saver but I did, I am expecting to be moved to the off peak one sometime as that would be the equivalent one so won't get a slot next year

Gazelda- How on earth did you get on at 5:55 and get on 15 mins later from a starting point of 155,000?
I started at the same time at just over 100,000 and it's taken me an hour and 40 mins to get through! Even then It kept crashing as I tried to check out!

The app has been useless this year - couldn’t check out my previous Saturday usual slot when my website queue place suddenly got to the front and I was checked out in seconds

As an ex instore picker (not tesco but still) can i just remind people that basics like stuffing, cranberry sauce etc are available all year round and ordering online for anything doesnt guarantee you will get it. Please dont rely on a christmas delivery for these items.
