Previous years offerings have made me laugh so much. I apologise if there’s one already but I couldn’t see it.
I start with this. Very family friendly and a bargain at £19.

Post the crappy wreaths. Show me the cotton wool ball or polystyrene snowmen. The hampers of stuff from someone’s junk drawer. We all need ideas for that hard to buy person.

I actually just snorted my water with that. They are wonderfully hideous

ManefesationofConciousness · 05/11/2022 17:34

I want them- where are they from?

hannahbanana2007 · 05/11/2022 17:49

Oh these are my favourite threads! I have nothing to share sadly but will wait with excitement for all the glorious Christmas tat offerings!

PumpkinDart · 05/11/2022 18:14

Oh god they're so awful they're pretty awesome.

HauntersGonnaHaunt · 05/11/2022 18:38

Is that Christmas centrepiece on eBay again?

That description has just made my weekend. Oh my.

How the dickens is she going to post it?! And the oblique reference to role playing...? It just keeps giving on every level.

I don't know why but I've always assumed that thing was made by a man.

Actually you're right. It has the vibe of a man's life's mission to it.

Which begs the question how can he bear to let it go? Do you think his wife said it's me or the world's most ludicrous cake tin adorned with the closing down stock from niche crafting shops spanning Land's End to John O' Groats?

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 05/11/2022 19:50

Well, it's not exactly priced for a quick sale 😂

I know I always assumed that also. I still thought it was a man until I read your post.

nomoreflyingducks · 05/11/2022 20:13

I always assumed a man too; possibly because the business details has the name David.

red4321 · 05/11/2022 22:33

Very slim pickings on my FB Marketplace.

Apart from these torso-less legs and some very beautiful personalised cat baubles (in the theme of the emperor's new clothes)

Spotted these in San Francisco. Really wanted one but a bit too spendy.

They are hilariously awful 😂😂😂

I love that centrepiece for all the wrong reasons. Has it gone actually gone up in price I'm sure it was like £499 or £599 last year

Pieceofpurplesky · 06/11/2022 00:24

I think if I win the lottery I would buy the centrepiece so I could spot those fellow mumsnetters amongst my friends. There would be a look

ScarierThanBoo · 06/11/2022 00:29

@ShakeYourFeathers I'm almost certain that it has dropped from either £799 or £899 in previous years.

ScarierThanBoo · 06/11/2022 00:30

@shiningcuckoo not to sound like a dickhead but who/what are they supposed to represent?
