'That' ebay listing - I messaged him last year to ask if I could view it before bidding (obviously just so I could have a claim to MN fame!). He said no because he'd been inundated with requests to view from people who weren't serious about purchasing. What a surprise! He should put it on display and charge £1 to view it, he'd soon make his money...😆

@pinkksugarmouse I do talk to her about them, and our pre-Christmas shopping trips are intended for us to point out the kind of things we both like, but she takes no hints whatsoever! 😂

I dislike stating exactly what I’d like for Christmas - seems a bit of a cop-out for the giver and no surprise/thought out into it. I also would have hoped that my own mother knew me a bit better after all these years. 🤷‍♀️

But she’s asked me what I want this year and I sent her an Amazon link. 👍

Thing that gets me about the stuff posted on this thread and years before is a lot of it if it involves a face in anyway such as Santa ends up looking very creepy!!!

I'm not sure why Santa's boots look like he's stolen them from a small Victorian orphan.
