Maybe instead of a picture of just the wellies take a selfie of you in them in some nice lingerie or something. 🤣 Maybe that sounds weird but it might make him chuckle depending on his sense of humour.

DH usually tells me what he would like for Christmas, often to the point where he orders it from the joint account and then I wrap it. His main present is usually hobby related and I don't understand the difference between different items.
That might put me in Mumsnet Wife jail.

For his stocking, I'll get him a book, some fancy hot chocolate as he doesn't like tea/coffee, a nice snack, something consumable linked to one of his hobbies like energy gels for running/cycling.

We don't do big Christmases

He would love it. Not sure my parents who we are spending Xmas time with would find it that funny 😁
