Morning!

We'll be in the 100s before we know it, won't we?!

It rained overnight. I'm not sure how much, but the ground is a bit wet. It's sunny now and we're due warmer weather.

Sainsbury's are delivering soon. The excitement! 🤣

Not a great day weather wise for us today. Ds has a trip to a farm. I've got uni. We had the dentist yesterday which was fine, he's amazing with ds

It got sunny here after lunch, so that was nice. The greenhouse plants looked happy! I bought 3 tomato plants from Dobbies and they're huge already. They have been very happy being housed in the greenhouse! Also, if we have as many lemons as we have flowers on the tree, I'll have more than Sainsbury's! 🍋🤣 🍋

The baby starlings have progressed to poking their heads out of the loft. They're very cute!

Weather has been 50/50 here - was cloudy and cold this morning but lovely by 2pm and I've only just needed to close the back door.

Fluffy how are your chillis looking? I feel like mine have stalled but I have no idea what they should be like.
The sunflowers are looking good though, and I've noticed some small green shoots from my carrots today 🥳 (excitement because I haven't killed any of the plants yet)!

Morning!

It rained overnight here so the washing got rained and darked on! but is dry now and should be all day.

I'm off to the office today so have an 11 hour round trip, for 3 hours in the office. Joy! I'm at my local station waiting for my first train.

Crazy, the chillies aren't very happy, seemingly. And annoyingly. The snails are enjoying eating the bloody things though. 🙄

I still need to sow my sunflowers actually. Must get on with it!

It rained overnight and is still hammering down now - the plants should be happy.

My chillis are still on my conservatory windowsill but they don't seem to have grown much. Sunflowers are going well though.

Plan for today - work, walk dog on lunch (in the rain), work more, put tea on, hoover, clean the conservatory windowsills (collection of dead flies all of a sudden), put washing away, shower and cross stitch.

I've been doing cross stitch. Somehow managed to continue my trend of starting in the wrong place. I think this material is big enough to save me, thankfully! 🙈

I didn't check the forecast. Chucking it down here. It's dry and sunny back home today. My train is a bit cold too. 🥶

Not long til I get to Nottingham. Then it's a change onto the third and final train of my journey down.

It's mild and rainy here today. I've run out of washing powder so need to get some and despite putting £50 of fuel in Friday I now only have 45 miles left so need some more. Will be dipping into savings this week ffs.

We've just had our first baby starlings visit. They're so noisy! 😍

We've got a power cut again...

Oh I forgot to say I heard the cuckoo for the first time at the weekend. Bit later than usual for us

I'm absolutely exhausted today, after my trip yesterday. And today I have to do two days' work to catch up. Hurrah!

No cuckoos here. I can hear the loud pigeons though. Plus other birdies. 😁

How was your long day yesterday Fluffy?

It's been a bit rubbish here - hay fever causing nosebleeds and headaches. It meant my work day felt like it lasted 12 hours over dramatic and I feel shaky.

Have done some housework but not enough - I stripped the bed earlier so I need to remake that, plus there is washing to put away and the dishwasher needs reloading. Will rope in DH.

Crazy do you dry your washing outside? If so maybe it's best not to? I bet it's covered in pollen. Plus keeping windows closed etc.

Another favourite colleague of mine has left. It's so rubbish.

Is anybody else seeing this thread only in bold? It's only this thread I have an issue with. Even posts that weren't all bold when I first read them are now! 🤷‍♀️

Yeah a fair few. Some have got onto band 7 roles but some have side stepped. Funny how everyone starts leaving when they bring in a new manager, you'd think they'd put two and two together wouldn't you?

Dh was a complete dick last night. He really shouted at dd, she was being a bit cheeky but it didn't warrant that and then when I said something to him (after she had left the room in tears) he had a complete strop and went to bed without saying anything (or loading the dishwasher which is his job).

Fluffy, the app isn't in bold and I checked logging in on the main site and that isn't in bold either.

Wreck, loads are leaving where I work as well.

Got to clean the house today. I am up early to get my son up for work as he does not hear alarms (a thankless task).

Well, you'd think they'd click, yes.

Fluffy can you delete the app and reinstall (if that's the right term)? The first batch of starling chicks have sussed out how to eat for themselves, so are hanging around and begging for food. Even with a big Ginger Cat sitting in the window, telling them to get off his lawn <sigh>

Our baby starlings came into the garden for the first time. They're still being fed though. They just be a few days behind yours.

I did notice on some other threads yesterday that a lot of the posts were being cut off halfway through though!

What was going on with your DH do you think Wreck? Why mine is a dick it tends to directly correlate with increased stress in work or lack of sleep 🙄
I would definitely leave the dishwasher for him to do later.

We had a lot of sideway moves in my last department when a new manager came in. She was (and still is) awful but it took a very long time for people to put the pieces together.

I'm annoyed. I put a full load of washing on based on the forecast saying it was going to be warm and dry all day and the sky being blue but there have been intermittent showers all morning 😡

I did the dishwasher. Usually it's work but I honestly think it was because of the football result which is just pathetic.

Oh I would be very annoyed if the mood was because of sport! It's fine to be disappointed but not to take it out on other people - it's just a game FFS.

Also, sorry for the lack of paragraphs- they were there when I posted
