Apparently the app doesn't like paragraphs anymore! The good news is that it's no longer all in bold. Whoop!

Sport bad moods are ridiculous. I'd be very unimpressed.

Work sent me a takeaway voucher as a thank you for travelling down on Weds. So we had chippy tea tonight! 😋

Did your weather improve, Crazy? It's gorgeous here. I'm currently wandering go Sainsbury's -burning some chip calories off to do a top up shop.

That was nice of your work Fluffy

Weather remained on and off all afternoon, plus it's so windy it's bloody freezing.

MN is annoying me at the mo. I can't see paragraphs on the app on my phone but they're on the app on the iPad but the posts randomly cutting off is ongoing - is anyone else having this? I've attached a pic.

Yes same thing is happening to me. It's really annoying.

Morning!

Bookmarks aren't working again now...I had to scroll through the whole thread to get to the end. Hurrah!

I'm in loads of pain from ovulation (or the build up). I think I prefer the unobtrusive, rarely-occur, variety of periods I've got used to.

It's haircut day here. Then I need to replace Mouse's nose (DD's toy from birth). He also needs a bath. The excitement never begins round these parts! 🤣

Hello everybody peeps ( Stavros voice)

I have been away .................and I'm back . ( You thought you;d got rid of me Huh ? Huh ? )
DH and I went on a cruise , very nice , saw loads of sights , lovely ship . Got the old SeaLegs but now I'm on dry land my brain is still convinced I'm on board so making me a bit wibbly ( hopefully fine tomorrow )

So no Christmas planning but there was a Murano Glass shop in Rome that had Christmas Decorations Xmas Grin . Didn;t buy any though , they'd be A Million Fragments if the felines got hold !

So back to Real Life again

Ovulation Pain is grim Fluffy , I knew exactly when my left ovay was active which did help when was was planning DC ( the right one didnt hurt so it was only every 2nd month that was painful) . They have both (ovaries) long ago Shut Up Shop so I don't miss all that malarky .

Morning!

Who'd have thought we'd come second in Eurovision, eh?! I didn't watch it, but saw we were leading for a bit. Bizarre!

At least Liverpool have won something this season. 😁

Sounds like you had a lovely cruise, 70!

Ovulation pain is the worst. It happens (ovulation / the pain) infrequently these days, but when it does, it bloody lets me know about it. Grim. It was mild and useful when TTC!

Fluffy France gave us 12 points 🤯
It was pretty crap, only a couple of "bouncy" EuroPop" type songs with too many ballads/dirges and the presenters were bloody awful including the woman who looked like Noel Fielding in a series of frocks very 🧀🧀🧀.

WreckTangled · 15/05/2022 12:22

Way too many ballads. I actually stayed up until the end Shock dh and I slept in until 9 Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/05/2022 13:07

including the woman who looked like Noel Fielding in a series of frocks

My brain converted that to looked like Noel Edmonds

Xmas Blush

That's the stuff of nightmares!

I looked up Noel Fielding Laura Pausini. God knows what they did to her as other photos don't make her look anywhere near as bad. Weird!

70 think of Noel Edmonds... in a black Fenella Fielding in Carry on Screaming wig... wearing a series of sparkly frocks.

You're welcome Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/05/2022 18:38

Oooh i love Carry On Screaming , purely for Harry H Corbett I have to say !

pussycatlickinglollyices · 15/05/2022 20:31

70 it's DH favourite.

Morning!

It's rather sweaty here today. We're apparently due rail, hail and thunder today. I can't tell if it rained as much as was forecast overnight though. Hopefully it was right and my allotment got a good soaking!

Every single spud has sprouted and I earthed down yesterday! Only one more earthing to go, and the ground will be back to level.

The baby starlings are deafening. We get 5 visiting with the adults. Shouty things! 🤣🤣

Rain has just gone whoosh! Hurrah. ☔️🌧☔️🌧

It's cloudy here but meant to be sunny later and really nice tomorrow. I've got a busy day with lots of driving which just pisses me off as it's costing me so much.

pussycatlickinglollyices · 16/05/2022 09:27

Still damp here. My🥔are growing pretty quickly. The 🥕are slow. Might have to plant another couple of pots.
The back lawn is just a starling creche. I suspect the parents bring them here then bugger off...I counted at least 20 babies yesterday - probably more but they little sods kept moving! 😹

CrazyBaubles · 16/05/2022 09:37

Morning.

It's rained so much since Saturday night here that my water butts are pretty much full.
I have 1 set of spuds that have enough room to be earthed up once then the container will be full but the other is only halfway.
Carrots have some green on them so I haven't killed them yet, and strawberries are going a bit nuts. Plus my sunflowers are going well too 🌻

I watched 2 magpies bully a young blackbird yesterday - they were chasing him from one perch to another over and over again. Gits.

Does anyone watch the Marvel movies? We took nephew to see Dr Strange yesterday - it hurt my brain a bit 🤯

NoWordForFluffy · 16/05/2022 10:39

Yeah, then they wander round, shouting for sodding food! Loud bastard things (cute though).

I still haven't done my sunflower seeds. I have more beans to do, so will try to do them together!

Morning!

We had a fair amount of rain yesterday. My weeds stuff at the allotment should be happy! Our towels got wet as I followed the forecast and put them out when the rain had supposedly finished. It hadn't! It chucked it down! 🙈 They should be on their way to drying now though as it's sunny with a breeze!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 17/05/2022 07:31

I'm working through piles of post holiday washing here <sigh> then decide what gets put away ( holiday clothes rather than Real Life Clothes ) in the loft .

My cats would LOVE to set up a Starling Creche , they'd welcome the noisy babies with open jaws arms

pussycatlickinglollyices · 17/05/2022 07:48

70 Grin Mine seem to quite enjoy the sparrow soft play in the top of the tree by the kitchen window too...judging by the nose prints.🤦‍♀️ It's lucky they don't go out.

We had to top up the spuds yesterday - they'd put nearly 6" on in a day (or the rain had helped the compost to settle) DH has been watering them again🤦‍♀️😹

CrazyBaubles · 17/05/2022 08:22

Morning. I've had a productive morning - up early, kitchen is clean, dishwasher is on, I've put together the veggie lasagne which I'll cook later for tea, garden has been checked on and I was at my desk at 7:45.

puss my grow bag thing for one set of spuds is now full and the other is just over halfway 😳

It's not supposed to rain until 5ish today but not sure i trust it so I'm going to set up the airers in the conservatory soon.

I also want to finish my cross stitch Christmas card later - just the writing and backstitch to go.
