They were the wrong way round 😂 I’ve received notification of a full refund this morning so can’t fault the Trainline one bit. Plus the replacement ones I got were cheaper.

Fluffy I did but then I lost my ticket and had to buy a single home. Which was more than the travel card I had 😭 it’s so annoying they don’t do ones on your phone and you have to carry around a stupid paper ticket.

We’re going to the cinema today. More money 😬 although dd has a voucher so she’s using that for her and a friend. Another lovely sunny day too.

The app still isn’t working at all for me, very annoying.

Which cinema is it? Will a Meerkat code help?

Bookmarks have stopped working now. I had to scroll to the bottom of the page. Sigh.

We are done with birthdays in this house now until 2023 😱😂. Once DD2's cards come down then the next cards will be Father's Day then our wedding anniversary then Christmas. Boom! A whole 8 months reduced to 2 Hallmark moments and the most wonderful time of the year!

DS is back to school today. I've got two loads of laundry on the line and I'm just about to dust and hoover - I can't do anything when the DC are around.

Thanks all. We decided to make the most of recently having had Covid, and this glorious weather, and ditched the kids with DMIL to sneak off for cocktails and meze 😋

I've been a bit quiet this week because after years of planning, and back and forth with plans and builders, our extension is finally underway! Hurrah! We're on day 3 and so far the skips didn't turn up and the builder accidentally severed the internet cable his scanner thing didn't pick it up).

I have had to trawl through the topics to find you all. With reams of zombie threads and both my app and the actual site not working it has been a nuisance.

Dd has an OT appointment then we're food shopping.

Dreaming sorry to hear things are difficult at the moment. Italy sounds lovely, do you have anywhere particular in mind?

We are thinking Lake Garda Firefly :) Need to work on building up my ability to be away from home for more than 4-5 nights but I am determined!

We went to Lake Garda for our Silver anniversary Dreaming and stayed in Riva del Garda. It's so beautiful there and the ferry is brilliant for visiting all the other towns. It was a bit of a wrench leaving the DC at home but we all coped.

Sorry you're having a hard time Dreaming. Does being away make you anxious? If so it's definitely a good idea to built it up but also to be somewhere beautiful and interesting.
I've always wanted to go to Italy but our trip was cancelled due to Covid.

I'm finally back after home drama and the site playing up yesterday.
DH is on the mend so we're going out for tapas tonight (and maybe a cocktail for me as he isn't allowed to drink for a few weeks).
