DH has been negative for two days so we're going away for one night! Setting off bright and early 😁

Happy Easter Sunday

The DC are still asleep ( lazy arses) , DS was up late On-Line Gaming .

Back in the day they'd be trapped in the front room like greyhounds waiting to race down the garden for the EggHunt .
I gave DD an Easter Bunny plate and mug on Friday that she really likes ( DD understands the Traditions ) and she'll use all year . She's still using her M&S red candy cane mug !

Batch of chocolate crispy cakes done ( I was pretending to be Nigel Slater as I melted two types of chocolate -milk+plain - then artfully topped with some MiniEggs )

Then dinner will be like Christmas Dinner but without stuffing or sprouts . Delicious

Enjoy constantly!

My dc only get eggs from us and a small one from pil's. All my family give them money ds has already eaten a big bunny.

Morning!

It's meant to be colder, but dry, today. I need to go to the allotment to get my spuds in the ground.

Wreck, DS had a whole cucumber plus carrot sticks!

Dd can't eat raw carrot now she's got braces, it's one of the only 'salad' type things she would eat so it's really annoying!

It's bright here but hazy I think it'll still be fairly warm. We're not doing anything though apart from housework. I could go to the gym but I can't really be bothered.

My two are currently sharing a bag of carrots.

Weather is lovely here. Great drying weather. I've gotten 2 loads done so far. Might chance my arm for a 3rd.

Ahh lovely Bank Holiday lazy day . (And a short week next week , hurrah)

I sorted through my clothes for our holiday , decided what I need to get ( and you can bet I won't find it , might be an online effort) .

I made some nice butternut squash soup for dinner and a loaf in the breadmaker .
Got some clothes for recycling in a bag and the winter clothes in the attic,.

I've probably eaten too many eggs , I helped my DS with his (he knows better than to argue , Keep The Peace young man , Keep The Peace !)

Morning all.

Last couple of days of the holiday for DS. It will be a flurry of haircuts and homework.

Afternoon. Quick check in from me. Had an awful last half of the bank holiday. Outing to put it here but DH will be home later and I can't wait to see him.

The only plus side is that my utility room was completed yesterday. God bless my dad, he did the work for free (he was paid in coffee, cakes and lunch).
He also took the door off and altered it so it opens out instead of in - all of a sudden the room is a lot bigger. It's lovely in there for now

I haven't slept so I'm trying to get through work without falling asleep at my desk. Zombie bench all the way here 🥱

Mad day at work, catching up! It's awful being off (especially when the Court buggers up and gives you conniptions first thing on your return!).

Thankfully I got it sorted at 9.05am, ahead of the hearing at 10.10am! (Thank you to Helen at Leeds CC for putting it right!)

I informed my DH that it was 250 days till Christmas and confirmed it by asking Alexa .
Sad to say his response was less than enthusiastic , I'd go as far as him being a bit . Might need to lever up one of the patio slabs after all .

Morning!

Mumsnet has gone weird overnight and looks very odd. It also doesn't appear to be fully-functional (couldn't get bold to work).

We're having nice weather this week, which is a turn up for the books! We've managed to have the heating off totally for a week now too, not even the odd half hour (obviously ignoring the fact we weren't here for some of that!). It feels like a milestone!

Fluffy it had logged me out and I've had to re-register, then I managed to log back in under my old username. Not something my brain was prepared for at 5am.🤯
We had the heating on last night for an hour. I'll try to remember to close some windows earlier today.🤦‍♀️

I can’t get the app to work at all so am on the browser. We haven’t had our heating come on for ages too, can’t even remember when.

we’re going to London today which should be fun. Yesterday I realised I had bought the wrong tickets 🙄 but the Trainline said they’ll refund them once they know I haven’t used them. Not sure what we’re doing really, lots of wandering probably.

Wreck I've just deleted and reinstalled the app to see if it works any better. It doesn't. It's changed the colours a bit and the bookmark function still doesn't seem to work which is frustrating. I'll see if I can play around with settings and get my old colour scheme back. The most recently posted 'Thread I'm On' doesn't seem to be at the top either.

I keep getting logged out on the browser.

The lack of capitalisation on a new line is annoying too.
