Dc are teenagers so not so much to wrap this year fortunately. I’m on the last few things and that’s amazing for me as I’m usually up till all hours on Christmas Eve finishing it off. I’ve even put it in sacks ready. I can’t believe it!

Still got a few things left to wrap but have certainly done the worst of it. Managed to wrap DH presents today but can't wrap the kids until they are in bed

Angel2702 · 22/12/2021 18:30

Just waiting for last thing to arrive.

IKnowAPlace · 22/12/2021 18:30

All finished on Sunday and feeling mega smug about it Grin

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 22/12/2021 18:32

just doing the last of it now, not many to go!

orangesnapples · 22/12/2021 18:33

I'm a head of the game this year.

Just a few things for the little ones left to wrap but the big kids can do them Christmas Eve.
This is our first year in 10 years of it just being us and the kids.
Feeling very relaxed and festive.

The100thHoliday · 22/12/2021 18:33

I was going to do it today, but had a busy morning and then opted for a film and a nap this afternoon instead. So, tomorrow it is!

GiveYourHeadAWobble · 22/12/2021 18:34

I’ve wrapped everything. I started wrapping in early December so I haven’t had a last minute rush.

DrinkingHomeForChristmas · 22/12/2021 18:35

I've got a few left to wrap but they are in massive boxes and I don't want to get them out the hiding place until the kids are in bed on Christmas Eve so will need to wait. I'm not normally this organised but it's actually quite a nice feeling Smile

beenthereboughtthetshirt · 22/12/2021 18:38

Notwithittoday · 22/12/2021 18:39

No still odds and sods to do

toomuchlaundry · 22/12/2021 18:41

Haven’t started!

FourTeaFallOut · 22/12/2021 18:41

I have two or three things left and just stocking stuff so could get away with just bunging them in.

FireworkParrot · 22/12/2021 18:42

Yes, I did mine a couple of weeks ago and DH did his wrapping for his side of the family today so we're all set.

wetpebbles · 22/12/2021 18:43

Yes wrapped a few weeks ago when kiddies at school

Peanut82 · 22/12/2021 18:43

Finished the wrapping today, just need to sort Christmas Eve boxes out then I'm done

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 22/12/2021 18:44

I'm not wrapping. I am putting gifts in tote bags and large laundry bags.

Bah humbug!

RamblingFar · 22/12/2021 18:47

I've just ordered the wrapping paper. Amazon say it will arrive on time 🤞

anon51 · 22/12/2021 18:49

Yes all wrapped last Wednesday! Food shop done today. Can finally relax now.

caringcarer · 22/12/2021 18:50

I have been wrapping adult sons gifts who is coming home for Xmas from 10am until 3pm with only a quick break for lunch. I have still got younger sons, foster sons and Dh's pressies to wrap.

Blossom64265 · 22/12/2021 18:50

I did the best thing this year. I set up a folding table and turned it into a gift wrapping station. I discovered that with the supplies all laid out, I can get a gift to the point that the recipient won’t be able to tell what I am wrapping very quickly, plus my family is all old enough to deal with being told to wait just a minute to come into the room. So the table has been set up and I’ve wrapped gifts right as they have been delivered. The efficiency was blissful. Really shouldn’t get that much pleasure out of it, but I did.

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 22/12/2021 18:51

Finished mine in November

Datsandcogs · 22/12/2021 19:19

Wrapped on my last day off without children last week, mopped up a couple of strays this morning. So done for the children, one more to buy for a visitor!

dementedma · 22/12/2021 19:27

Yes. All done

KnottyKnitting · 22/12/2021 19:30

Pretty much- I wrap stuff as it arrives. Few more bits still to arrive but essentially finished!

Made the mistake of leaving it all till Christmas Eve one year. Was still wrapping at 1am. Lesson learned!

didireallysaythat · 22/12/2021 19:40

Yes done it all. I don't quite understand what the deal is as it takes 30 mins max once you've got everything out to wrap 10-20 things (me to DH, DS1 and DS2). Parcels for nieces and nephews and MIL posted a week or so ago. Don't do presents for anyone else. DH has to sort out presents for nephews on his side (which Amazon will deliver for wrapping by someone else Xmas Eve).
