Dc are teenagers so not so much to wrap this year fortunately. I’m on the last few things and that’s amazing for me as I’m usually up till all hours on Christmas Eve finishing it off. I’ve even put it in sacks ready. I can’t believe it!

I was the most behind I'd ever been last week - nothing bought by last Thursday - now I'm most ahead I've ever been. Turns out you can do most of Christmas in less than a week!

EventOfTheSeason · 22/12/2021 19:43

No I'm about halfway there. But this year we will have nothing to build on Christmas Eve which is a first for us.

mamaduckbone · 22/12/2021 19:43

I had one session last week and got most of it done but need to do the last batch...that's tomorrows job

PlanktonsComputerWife · 22/12/2021 19:45

I think so. We didn't buy very much this year, though.

Longdistance · 22/12/2021 19:48

About 80% is wrapped. Waiting on one delivery very soon 🤞🏻

Amichelle84 · 22/12/2021 19:49

I thought I had... then spilt water on loads of them so had to rewrap them once the items were dry. I also keep finding bits I bought ages ago and forgot about. A few more to do which I want finished tonight.

WitchDancer · 22/12/2021 19:50

Yes, all done. I use gift bags so it's quick, easy and environmentally friendly.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 22/12/2021 19:51

No, have about 5 things to do tomorrow but they're all easy shapes so won't take long.

Abraxan · 22/12/2021 19:53

Did most of it today.
Have a couple of Dh's to do, which I'd forgotten were upstairs and I don't fancy restarting today. Also have a handful of outstanding parcels - one due tonight apparently, a couple tomorrow - and then a couple now not doing til after Christmas!

Advantage is that the study now smells lovely as I used some dried fruit as decoration and the smell is wafting round the room.

blibblibs · 22/12/2021 20:00

DC 1 are all done but haven't started DC 2 so I've put them all in a holdall and I'm taking them to work tomorrow to do 😁

Mammma91 · 22/12/2021 20:01

Wrapped everything. Although do you wrap stocking presents? They are very small token gifts for my 2 year old.

sadpapercourtesan · 22/12/2021 20:03

Have just finished a monster wrapping session with DH. We've done all the kids stuff, including stocking pressies. Just have to do each other's, my Dad's and his partner's, his mother and her partner's and a friend who is coming on Boxing Day. Will hopefully manage to do those tomorrow, as I hate it when I end up doing it on Christmas Eve.

PoppityBoo · 22/12/2021 20:09

Nothing done yet bar my work secret Santa. Surely this is what Xmas eve and Die Hard on the TV is for?! 😂

MargosKaftan · 22/12/2021 20:26

Got most of it done, but not for thr people we are seeing on 27th. Also have dc1s birthday this week and only wrapped half the gifts for that... Have also realised I've bought too many stocking gifts (don't wrap those), will do a trial run seeing what fits in later on and might need to take some things out to be tree gifts instead.

Cuwins · 22/12/2021 20:28

I have only wrapped the 3 presents that have already left my house- 2 given to the person and 1 sent.
Haven't wrapped anything else yet, going to do it tomorrow. I hate wrapping and put it off but thankfully I don't have a massive amount to do- my partner (about 4 things), mum (3 things), sister (3 things), dad (2 things) and gran (1 thing) so won't take long.

PurplePikachu · 22/12/2021 20:29

I like to leave everything till Christmas Eve so DH has to mind the kids while I sit peacefully in the spare room wrapping presents and listening to Christmas music. Tbh could have wrapped everything while they were still in school but then I’d have lost my peaceful Christmas Eve time.

ChocolateRiver · 22/12/2021 20:30

Haven’t even started 🤦‍♀️

DramaAlpaca · 22/12/2021 20:31

I haven't started either.

reallyworriedjobhunter · 22/12/2021 20:37

Only have the stocking bits left to do which I'll do in front of the TV later. Never leaving it to Christmas Eve ever again.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 22/12/2021 20:46

Barely started but I do have tomorrow off and DD is at nursery all day so I intend to have an xmassy day to myself doing wrapping and putting on Xmas bedding.

PhoneKeysBook · 22/12/2021 20:49

Yes I'm ridiculously organised. All wrappped has been since start Dec

Diversion · 22/12/2021 20:51

I havent wrapped my grandchildren's presents or my parents and in-laws. I hate wrapping presents at the best of times and dont fuss around with adornments. A few years ago a friend of mine came and wrapped everything in return for a nice meal and wine, we had a lovely evening and I just sat and cut the sellotape!

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 22/12/2021 20:52

Did it all back in november smug

BirdyBirdyTweetTweet · 22/12/2021 20:54

Oh yes.

Tinylittlecabbages · 22/12/2021 20:55

Everything? No.
Anything? Also no.
