Best and worst Christmas films?

I love Home Alone (1 and 2) and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Not keen on the Polar Express although I want to love it. I think it's to do with the ticket blowing away and it being inevitable and it makes me twitchy.

What are yours?

Gremlins would be a perfect Christmas film!
Absolutely. One of my favourites and it was a tradition for me and my sister to watch it together every year.

I also love the George C Scott version of A Christmas Carol. We watched this each year too and it was so scary. It still scares me now and I’m 40.

Best: National Lampoons family christmas (so funny) and a Christmas Story is beautiful and so nostaglic (The one with Ralphie) The animated Dr Seuss The Grinch is magical for children, I felt like a child watching it!

Worst: Gremlins terrified my children. The various scrooges are all so miserable and scary too.

😳 I’m not surprised your children were terrified watching Gremlins. It has a 15 rating.

Best is Snow Dogs - love it
Worst is Muppet Christmas Carol. Only because The Muppets give me the creeps big time!
